"Mixed Feelings about The Addison of Lincolnton"
The food is really good, but one lady in the dining room made our loved one scared because she was kinda tough. They have activities, which is okay considering how many people live there. The Addison in Lincolnton is quiet and calm. When my dad needed a place, they had room for him. It wasn't our first pick because they don't have as many social activities as his old place. He's super social and used to do a lot of stuff with friends.

"Staff Support Is Great, But More Activities Needed"
The staff here is really helpful and always interacts with the residents. They’re responsive when we have questions and provide great support. However, they could offer more activities for the men living in the community.

"Inconsistent Care at The Addison of Lincolnton Assisted Living"
The Addison of Lincolnton wasn't good. Every time my family member got a little hurt, they sent them to the hospital. They didn't try to help at the facility. Sometimes, going to the hospital was unnecessary. This cost a lot of money. They changed directors a lot. The people in charge didn't talk much to the workers. So, the rules weren't always followed, especially about Covid. The building is nice and clean, and it doesn't smell. They do laundry well. But, they sent our loved one to the hospital for small things too often.

"Addison of Lincolnton: Less Nice, Unwelcoming Staff"
We saw that The Addison of Lincolnton wasn’t as good as some other places we checked out. The people working there didn’t really make us feel at home.

"New Director and Nurse Prioritize Money Over Care"
The old director that left in February 2022 was amazing, she really cared about all the residents like they were her family. But the new director, she's just after the money and doesn't take the time to get to know anyone. She's not professional at all. The nurse here isn't great either. They both don't follow up properly and seem to care more about the money they're making than the people they're supposed to be looking after. The food's not bad though.

"Clean, friendly, and available when needed"
We picked The Addison of Lincolnton because they had space when we needed it. The place was really clean, the staff were nice, and it had a good vibe. We didn't stay long, but we'd recommend it to other families.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place looks nice and tidy, especially outside for memory care folks. Staff are friendly. We haven't had many issues, but there aren't many activities for residents. They mostly just sit around in their rooms or the common area. There's an activity room, but hardly anyone uses it. Communication isn't great either. Calls get put on hold and dropped, and emails are only answered half the time.

"Neglectful Care Facility; Poor Diet Monitoring & No Refunds"
My family member spent his last two weeks at this care home. Despite him requiring a low-salt diet, they didn't pay proper heed. It seemed like they just fed him anything. They also didn't let him have his vitamins because of worries about other people getting into his things. Although he asked, they wouldn't even give him a key. He forked out more than $5000 for two weeks and they didn't return the leftover amount when he passed away. Plus, because of the pandemic, we couldn't visit and eat meals with him.

"Disappointed with Assisted Living Facility's Room Allocation Policy"
Our family visited the facility in person. They didn't have any space available. They suggested moving two ladies into a shared room to accommodate our loved one. But, we didn't think it was fair to make someone leave their space for ours.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
If you find yourself in a place like this, it’s alright. It’s not the best, but I know it could be worse. The staff needs more training, and I was surprised they weren’t all nurses. During my visits, I haven’t seen many activities.
