"Memory Care Facility Falls Short on Care and Staffing Needs"
This place looks nice, but they don't take care of memory care residents well. There aren't enough staff, and the bosses might tell you things that aren't true just to make you happy. The good workers are moved out of memory care, leaving not-so-great workers with the people who need more help. Some things they say in their ads aren't true!

"Inconsistent Care and Staff Turnover Mar Assisted Living Experience"
Cleanliness: They're always short on staff. I had to clean my father's room every week and take out the trash. Care: He didn't get the support he needed. They were always understaffed from what I could see. Meals: They charged extra for tray service and didn't keep track of additional costs. The value was okay, but sometimes lacking care made it seem low. Staff: The first staff was great, but as weeks passed, everyone either left or got fired. Constant changes in personnel made things disorganized.

"Terra Bella: Top-Notch Assisted Living with Great Meals!"
Don't let the initial reviews discourage you—Terra Bella has improved significantly! I've toured several assisted living facilities, and Terra Bella stands out. My mom loves the three daily meals with plenty of choices, served restaurant-style.

"Awful Assisted Living Facility Loses Possessions, Fails Patient"
I wish I could give no stars, but I can't. This place was terrible. We had to switch my relative to a different facility after a serious health issue. On top of that, they misplaced ALL HER CLOTHES and didn't make an effort to locate them, give them back, or cover the cost of new ones. Even though every item was clearly marked with my family member's name, they still lost a lot of her personal stuff.

"Terrible Care and Service at Terrabella Newton"
Terrabella Newton - Not Wordy of Your Trust or Time" Avoid Terrabella Newton at all costs. They fail at their basic responsibility of taking care of their patients. The meals they serve lack proper nutrition. If you get greatly ill, they don't bother to let your family know. And then, to make things worse, once your family arrives, they must arrange for an ambulance service on their own. This place is among the worst I have ever been to. This infuriating and disheartening experience has left me very upset. Thankfully, my family member is now in a different facility that wholly meets his needs and nourishes him adequately. If you're able to care for yourself, that's splendid; But if you are looking for a reliable service, this place is awful. I wouldn’t wish their service even on my worst foe.

"Concerns over Care Quality at Assisted Living Facility"
Watch out if you're planning to move a family member into this place. I've seen poop left on different spots for days, and no planned activities to keep them engaged, only one trip outside in months. The people in charge just talk a big game but take no action. I think the poor care at TerraBella negatively impacted my mom and caused damage that can't be fixed. ElmCroft previously had some issues, but everything has gotten worse here. Some staff members who work directly with patients are great, I see they're really trying their best. But it looks like other workers don't know how to handle residents with memory issues. Staff used to work here longer, but now there's a lot of changing faces. The place might look nice at first glance, hiding all its flaws. I don't want anyone else to suffer the pain of seeing their parent live in such poor conditions. If I could provide more details without risking my mom's care or this review, trust me, I would.

""Poor management, unprofessional staff, and cleanliness issues at Terra Bella.""
This facility is okay, but the management and some employees really need to improve their professionalism and communication. Also, the building could be cleaner. I surely won't recommend Terra Bella.

"Poor Management and Maintenance"
This place could be better. The day shift staff did well, but management just gave lip service. Housekeeping was lacking, and my sister’s room was poorly maintained. The food wasn’t good. Communication with family varied. We moved my sister out. Wouldn’t recommend.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and initially, they told us there would be a space available for our loved one. However, when we arrived for the tour, there was no space. The salesperson mentioned that a resident was expected to pass away soon, which would free up a spot. Unfortunately, we didn't want to hear that.

"Great place, but needs more staff for better care"
I really like Elmcroft. They could do a better job washing my loved one's clothes, cleaning their room, and helping with baths more often. They are short-staffed right now, which I think is causing these problems. I would still recommend this place to others for their loved ones.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short: Food and Medication Issues Persist"
This place used to be good. My Mom has been there about 4 years now. The food used to be alright, but now it's terrible. I have to bring her food because she often calls me saying she can't eat it anymore, and she used to eat almost anything. She says some things taste bad and the meat is too tough to chew, and the vegetables are mushy. Since we can't visit due to Covid-19, I can't test it myself. The management doesn't seem to care. They also often let patients run out of their medicine and then try to blame the Pharmacy or the doctor. They never take responsibility themselves. After this pandemic, I'll look for somewhere else for her. It's gotten a lot worse in the last 6 months, and they don't call you back half the time. Many of the workers are very nice, and the manager can be nice too, but I feel she just tells me what I want to hear and doesn't follow through.

"A great place to place your loved ones"
I can say first hand that the people feel right at home here at Carillon assisted living. There is a great patient/personnel care ratio. There are many different activities throughout the day.
