"Disappointing Assisted Living Tour: Poor Conditions and Unprofessional Guide"
Carriage House tour was not good. Rooms were broken and messy. Closet doors were off track. We were surprised they showed us the room like this. Also, the tour guide talked badly about another community.

"Great staff, fun activities, and nice common areas!"
My experience with the staff has been good. They keep us informed and make changes when we ask. Like most places, there's some staff turnover, which can be annoying because we have to explain things again. I haven't tried the food, but my dad likes it. The common areas are nice. I especially love all the activities. My dad enjoys outings, game nights, movie nights, bingo, cooking classes, and crafts. I would recommend this place to family and friends!

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place is kept nice, and the cleaning and laundry staff do well. However, there aren't always enough caregivers. Activities are hit or miss. Sadly, staffing has slightly declined since we arrived, affecting meals, care, and activities. Still better than the old place.

"Better Care and Friendly Staff"
My loved one, who’s in memory care, really likes this place. The food is good, and the room stays clean. The staff doesn’t leave him alone all day, and there are plenty of activities. The caring and professional staff here is much better than his previous place.

"Improved Assisted Living Facility with Friendly Staff and Better Food"
I had a few complaints at first, but things got better. The place is cleaner, and the staff is friendly. The food looks and tastes better too. My mom prefers southern-style dishes, but overall, it’s good. They do need more staff, though. I’d recommend it.

"A Terrible Experience at this Uncaring Assisted Living Facility"
This place offered no activities to keep the folks entertained. It was clear they didn't genuinely care about their patients. This facility wasn't right at all for my family member. It was a terrible experience with all kinds of problems. The staff members were just not nice. My family member disliked the food, so often we'd have to bring meals from home. Sometimes, they didn't even provide my family member with water. Stuff kept disappearing from my family member's room. The place really didn't look after the patients well, and the staff wasn't attentive.

"Personalized Care and Friendly Staff Shine at Carriage House Assisted Living"
Just like some other places right now, they're having some issues with staffing, so sometimes the care is a bit uneven. But overall, the care has been really good. The staff members are incredibly friendly and easy to work with they deserve 10 stars! From what we've seen, the meals are good. They have plenty of activities going on all day long, every day of the week. We wish we were paying less, but compared to other places we looked at, it's a good value. What struck us most was that many communities have just one big dining hall for all residents, but here, each floor and wing has its own small dining hall. It's like having your own little community with your neighbors right there. The room we got for our loved one is close to the dining room, which is nice. Our loved one has told us that she likes it here, and the physical therapy team has been working really hard with her. Based on our experience so far with Carriage House, we would definitely recommend them to other families.

"Misleading Practices; Integrity Concerns"
They really lack integrity and honesty. They promise one thing but charge differently. This honesty problem is serious. Many others have faced the same issue, not just me.

"Promising Start, Disappointing Care at Assisted Living Facility"
Too many things need to get better at this place. I wouldn't suggest their special care for memory loss patients. I chose this place because they promised to look after my family member. It was good for the first month, but then it got worse.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My family member lived there, and it wasn't good. Even during the tour, I felt uneasy. I arrived on time for a scheduled tour but had to wait for an hour while the guide did something else. They didn't even tell me about the delay. The receptionist felt bad and gave me brochures to read while I waited. My family member started in Assisted Living but got moved to Memory Care. They missed meds because they were confused about how to take them. Their bed in Memory Care smelled strongly of urine from the beginning. It just wasn't a good experience. They claim to be a five-star place, but that wasn't our experience. They say they're very interactive and engaged with residents, but I didn't see that. My family member wasn't happy there. Even after I brought them home, they kept saying how horrible the facility was. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

"Poor care and inconsistent cold food at this facility"
This place is just really bad. My family member was there before they passed away, and on their last day, the care was totally subpar. They didn't meet my family member's needs. They lacked even the basic tools for checking their vital signs; we had to lend them my dad's own stuff. The food they served was often cold and confusing. My family member didn't get what they ordered, and the second time they ordered the same thing, it was different from what they got the first time. The food wasn't consistent at all. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Quiet, clean facility lacking activities; suitable for serene living environment."
This place is super new and super clean. They don't have enough workers, but the ones they do have are really good. The food is tasty. They keep everything super neat. They talk to our family well. It's really quiet here. Most folks don't move around much or talk much. They were supposed to have fun stuff to do, but it wasn't happening. When I asked, they said the people in charge of activities have been gone for a while. That was our only problem. My dad likes to do a lot and needed a place with more action. So we found a different place for him. But I think this place could be great for someone who wants peace and quiet. I've told people about it and will keep doing that.

My family visited this assisted living place for a tour, but we weren't impressed. The tour just didn't go well.

"Courtyard Access Issue, Otherwise Good Experience"
Overall, I think they were nice to work with. The only downside was that my loved one wanted to go to the courtyard more, and we agreed on that. But I get why they can’t leave the doors open for everyone who lives there.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This community has good things but needs to improve. The staff are friendly sometimes, but it depends on the shift. The manager in memory care shouts at our family, which is not okay. Our loved one likes the meals, though. The room was too hot for a while, then too cold. The nursing staff should write down their procedures for everyone to follow.

"Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere at Carriage House Assisted Living"
From the moment we entered Carriage House, our family's experience was truly excellent. The director and all staff members we interacted with were incredibly friendly and approachable. The atmosphere was warm, creating a very pleasant environment.
