"Not a Welcoming Place"

There wasn’t any nice furniture, just a strong smell of smoke. Everything looked like plastic. I wouldn’t want my mom to stay there. They kept calling, saying they were the only place that took Medicaid. Luckily, my mom doesn’t need that. When I drove up, it was near a prison, and signs showed how far away it was. Inside, there was only one plastic-covered couch in the lobby, and no one was there to help or greet me. I didn’t even bother taking a tour.
