"Mixed Feelings About The Pines on Carmel Senior Living"
I'm not sure if I'd tell my friends to go to The Pines on Carmel Senior Living. The people who work there are friendly, but there aren't enough of them. That means the place isn't as clean as it should be, and they don't help

"Bright and Convenient Senior Living at The Pines on Carmel"
Our family really likes The Pines on Carmel Senior Living because of its location, vinyl flooring in the rooms, and the overall brightness of the facility.

"Carmel Pines Lacks Appeal Compared to Similar Priced Facilities"
Carmel Pines Senior Living shouldn't have sales folks assessing resident care. While the staff were kind, the community overall fell short. We've seen heaps of comparable locations in the same price bracket, and this one didn't have as much going for it - it wasn't as attractive for assisted living.

"Caring Staff, Good Value, Active Involvement Needed"
The people there were really kind and helpful when we lost our loved one and helped us when they had to leave after being in the hospital. It’s a pretty good place, but you need to be involved in your family’s care. Make sure you’re seen and talk with the workers. It’s better than many places and gives you the most for your money. I’d tell others about it, but it really depends on how much money they have.

"Underwhelming Assisted Living Facility Tour"
I visited The Pines on Carmel Senior Living and it didn't wow me. It cost as much as the place we chose, but the staff and building quality didn't match up at all.

"Limited Activities but Clean and Friendly Facility"
I visited this place and it was nice. They didn't have a lot of things to do, but it was clean and the people were nice.

"Overpriced Facility with Insufficient Staff and Poor Communication"
We really didn't have a great time here. They should have had more workers who were educated and trained to care for people with Alzheimer's and dementia. They really could have talked to us more and been less messy. We were forced to sort out many problems on our own and keep track of everything. Considering the amount of money we were spending, we didn't think it was a fair deal.

"Affordable but limited rooms; cheerful residents; spacious hallways; needs cleaning."
The place was nice, but they only had a shared room available, which was more money than we wanted to spend. The people living there looked happy. The hallways were wide and pleasant. The outside could use some cleaning up.

"Happy Mom Settles into Clean, Friendly Assisted Living"
We’ve had a great time at The Pines. Someone special helped my mom move from her old place, find the best room, and get comfy here. Everyone - the workers and the people living here - are super nice and kind, and my mom’s starting to feel like she’s where she belongs. When we had a problem, it was fixed super fast. This place is always clean and smells nice, which you don’t find everywhere old folks live.

"Friendly Staff, Few Activities, Dated Facility"
The man who gave us the tour was really friendly. The place looked a bit old, and I didn’t notice a lot of activities happening. Most people were just sitting down, not doing much.

"Decent Facility with Odd Room Setup and Unpleasant Smell"
This spot was pretty cool. The rooms were arranged in a bit of an odd way but you can deal with it. They served veggies too. The only thing I didn't like was the strong 'elderly' scent when I first walked in. That wasn't great.

"Affordable, friendly, and convenient assisted living for loved ones!"
This place is great for my family member! The people who work there are really friendly. The building and the area around it are also really nice. We picked this place because it accepts Medicaid, which was a big help for us.

"Unimpressed by Hospital-like Atmosphere"
I visited this spot and wasn't really floored by it. The workers were nice and supportive, but the place felt more like a hospital than a home. It's not the sort of place I'd want my family to stay at. It doesn't feel cozy in the slightest.

"Friendly and Clean Community Worth a Look"
We visited this place when we were checking out care options for a family member. I thought it looked really nice! The staff I met were all friendly and professional, and the building was clean and well kept. We chose another place in the end, but I think this one is definitely worth checking out!

"Definite Nursing Home Feels"
Feels like a definite nursing home. The pricing is unbelievable for what they offer—no companion fee, but each person pays full price.

"Cozy, Clean, and Friendly!"
We’re so glad we chose Charlotte Square! It’s cheerful, cozy, and clean, with a friendly and helpful staff. Mom has a bright little private room that makes my brother and me feel good. We also appreciate the option for spending down if needed.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Clean but Lacks Appeal"
The monthly rent starts at $3730 for semi-private and $4600 for private rooms. Like other places I checked out, they'll assess Dad's needs with an RN. Expect higher care costs. It's clean but crowded, lacking charm.
