"Abysmal Care at Assisted Living; Ignored Urgent Concerns"
I put my dad in this place, but it was awful so we moved him three weeks later. My dad can't move by himself, so he needs people to help him and keep an eye on him. But, a lot of times, he was left alone at times where he really needed someone around, like when he was in the bathroom, showering, taking meds, or when he wasn't feeling well. I once had to clean him up when he was sick. Even when he used the call button, no one showed up. It scares me to think what could have happened if he had fallen when he was there alone. I called their main office to complain about all this, but no one ever called me back or did anything about it. I talked to the person who runs the place too, and even though she's really nice, she couldn't do anything to fix these problems. Maybe Chatham Commons is having a tough time right now because a lot of their people have left, but that's not an excuse for the terrible care and often ignoring the people living there. I wouldn't tell anyone to put their family here. If you can pick somewhere else, don't put your family member here.

"Smell Issue Addressed at Chatham Commons"
Chatham Commons is an older place, and there’s a smell issue. They’re working on it with renovations and upkeep. When moving a loved one, consider having the two communities communicate instead of handling it alone.
