HeartFields at Cary

"Heartfields at Cary is a great place for our mom."
We would tell our friends and family to choose Heartfields. It's been perfect for our mom. The staff and other residents are friendly and nice to talk to. The food, rooms, and things to do are all worth the cost. We're glad we found a place where our mom is happy and relaxed.

"Great Assisted Living Community!"
It took me a while to believe there wasn’t a better place for my mom. But after she settled in and I visited her a second time , I realized it was a great community. She feels safe, has friends, and connects with the staff. We picked this place because they could take care of both her and her husband. Unfortunately, he passed away shortly after moving in, even though we thought we had more time. Plus, the price was better than some other options.

"Great Care at a Fair Price!"
Overall, our experience has been good, although we’ve encountered a few challenges. The staff always strives to provide excellent care. The facility is much cleaner than others we’ve seen. While the quality of care is generally good, I sometimes need to remind them about specific needs. The food has improved since the new kitchen staff came on board. However, I do wish they offered more activities, like a walking group or a men’s group. On the bright side, they are priced very reasonably for the care they provide.

"HeartFields: A Top Choice for Assisted Living"
They should change patients more often and do laundry more frequently. I appreciate their responsiveness to concerns, but for the price, these issues shouldn’t arise. Still, after comparing eight places, I chose HeartFields.

"Unsatisfactory Assisted Living Experience"
This place isn't very clean, it's messy, and they don't communicate well. We're moving our loved one somewhere else. And let me tell you, the food is just plain awful.

"Heartfields Tour: Pleasant but Not Ideal"
We had a pleasant tour at Heartfields in Cary. Everything seemed good, but another place met our loved one’s needs better.

"Assisted Living with Clean, Friendly Care and Good Food"
When we looked at different places, the cost stood out the most. We asked about what would happen if her condition worsened, and they assured us she wouldn't have to move. She's in the memory care unit which is very clean with no odors, and her room is well-kept. The staff are all very friendly. The care seems good, and we haven't encountered any issues. The food is good too; she hasn't complained and eats well. I would definitely recommend Heartfields at Cary to others considering it for their loved one.

"Excellent care, great activities, and convenient location Highly recommended"
My experience has been really positive. The staff are amazing and have done a fantastic job placing her in the right area. They offer lots of activities for the residents every day of the week, which is great. I love that there's a piano people can play and a social room on each floor for hanging out. There’s also outdoor seating for enjoying the fresh air. Plus, the facility is conveniently located just 2 blocks from the hospital and medical supply store, and it’s near two supermarkets. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

"Overpriced Facility with Unnecessary Extras"
The place seemed older than we thought it would be. It also cost more than we planned to spend. They had lots of extras, but we didn't need all of them.

"Friendly Staff and Informative Tour at Assisted Living Community"
We took a tour of this place and it was really nice. The tour went well and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and gave us a lot of information to think about.

"Disappointing Experience and Poor Communication at Heart Fields"
When we first heard about Heart Fields, it seemed like the perfect place for our loved one in the memory ward. But the reality was far from what we were promised. We're not sure if the residents there engaged in any activities or went on field trips. There was such a lack of communication that we often felt kept in the dark. The staff didn't seem to fully understand their responsibilities and they could be rude at times. We felt that they needed to spend more time interacting with the residents. There were moments when we suspected neglect was taking place in this facility.

"Disappointment With Heartfields' Memory Care Unit: Seek Alternatives"
Don't put your loved one in Heartfields at Cary's Memory Care Unit. It's in a stuffy basement without many windows. It's beyond boring for the folks living there. They're not given fun activities or chances to make friends. I couldn't move my grandma out of that place quickly enough. I talked to the boss of the unit about how there were no fun things for the memory care residents to do. She had the nerve to say I wasn't paying attention to all their planned events. I've seen their schedule, I've been there at the right times, but I've never seen any event actually happen there. Anytime you visit, you'll find the residents stuck watching TV in a room without windows. For the two months my grandma was there, there weren't any fun activities. Even the workers from the Assisted Living section told me they wouldn't put their own family in the memory care unit. Do something good for your family member and find a better place for them. There are plenty of other homes in the area that would be way more fun and comfortable for your loved one.
