"Cleanliness and Organization Lacking in Older Assisted Living Facility"
I didn't really like the place much. The building was old and not very clean. It felt kinda messy and disorganized.

"Heritage Assisted Living: More Like a Run-Down Boarding House!"
Heritage doesn't live up to expectations set by A Place For Mom's ads. It was suggested to us by this company. Upon entering, I immediately felt like I had stepped into a run-down boarding house. The atmosphere was terrible. During our tour, given by one of the facility's nurses, I couldn't help but feel that I wouldn't want to receive care from any of the nursing staff – that's how unsettling it was. I couldn't shake off the impression that it resembled a rehab facility for drug users. The building was incredibly damaged and run-down. Our visit was just dreadful. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy, let alone stay there myself, even if it was offered without cost or they offered to pay me.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility"
I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone right now. My brother has been there for some time, and I know patients are getting cheated out of their money, if they even receive it. The person in charge sells cigarettes to patients, and it seems like she's making a profit from it. Whenever I visit, everyone seems too busy to talk to family members, and it's impossible to speak with the doctor who comes weekly. I have his Medical POA, and I can't even get information about his medications. No, I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone right now. I've never been informed about the monthly cost, so how can I answer that question?
