"Disappointing Facility, Poor Design and Staff Issues"
Brookdale Meadowmont doesn’t tell the truth when they show you around. The bathrooms aren’t good for old folks or people who can’t get around easily. The rooms are too dark, and the workers don’t talk to each other well. Too many bosses come and go, which isn’t good. And there’s just one person there who knows how to cook right.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living: Food and Communication Concerns"
My family member seems okay there. We've had problems with the food and getting prescriptions on time. I also didn't know about the community fee until after my family member moved in. They claim they told us, but neither of us remembers hearing about it.

"Mixed Experience at Kerner Ridge"
We scheduled a virtual tour with Kerner Ridge, but they didn’t realize it. We waited a while for the tour, and it felt a bit unorganized. The facility itself was nice.

"Inconsistent Care and Activities at Assisted Living Facility"
I'm not satisfied with how they handle Mom's clothes and other personal items. She often ends up wearing donated clothes, and her own clothes seem to go missing. Also, I don't think she's getting enough exercise. Even though they offer activities, they're not as often as we expected when she first moved in.

"Lacks Private Rooms, Otherwise Good Community"
The community was good, but they lacked a private room option.

"Comfortable and Convenient Assisted Living Choice"
We picked Kerner Ridge because it's close by, the place is set up nicely, and it just felt right compared to other spots we checked out. They have rooms you can share or have to yourself; she's in a private one and it works fine for what she needs. Overall, I'd suggest it to others who are looking.

"Disappointed: Memory Care Section Outdated"
Not impressed, the memory care section is ancient and behind the times.

"Convenient Location a Concern, Otherwise Great Assisted Living Facility"
We visited this community, and everything was really nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean, bright, and inviting. They have a lot to offer, but the location didn't work for us; it wouldn't be easy for people to visit.

"Great Community for Dad with Good Food and Friendly Staff"
Dad has started making friends at Kerner Ridge. The food is tasty and served on time. The staff are attentive, and we can always find someone to help or answer questions. They offer daily activities and encourage him to join in. The community is kept clean, and we like that it's smaller. I would recommend this place.

"Great Care, But Food Needs Improvement"
My 91-year-old mom has been at Kerner Ridge for two months. She moved there because she had several falls and broke a few bones. Her doctors and therapists said she isn't safe to live alone, but she still hopes to go back home someday. Despite this, she is pretty happy in her temporary home, except for the food. The food isn't like what she used to make at home. They don't have healthy salads and serve a lot of pasta and breaded meat and vegetables, which she never ate before. It's hard for her not to control what she eats. Overall, the staff has been wonderful very attentive, friendly, caring, and kind. Mom and I have both enjoyed the musical entertainment and the various groups that come. I feel that my mom is getting excellent care at Kerner Ridge, and I am very happy she is there.

"Great care and friendly staff, but food needs improvement"
My 91-year-old mom has been at Kerner Ridge for two months now. She moved there because she’s had several falls and broken a few bones. Her doctors and therapists said she’s not safe living alone anymore, but she still hopes to go back home someday. Even though she’s reasonably happy in her “temporary” home, she’s not too thrilled about the food. It’s different from what she used to make at home. They don’t offer healthy salads and serve a lot of pasta and breaded meat, which she never ate before. It’s tough for her to not choose her own meals. Overall, the staff has been fantastic very attentive, friendly, caring, and kind. Mom and I both like the musical entertainment and the various groups that visit. I feel confident that Mom is getting excellent care at Kerner Ridge, and I’m really glad she’s there.

"Very Impressive Assisted Living Facility"
I believe Kerner Ridge does an amazing job. I’m really happy with how things turned out. The staff here are kind, well-trained, and committed to helping residents. I visited at different times, and they always had enough people on-hand. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the food is pretty good too! Initially, I hesitated about placing a loved one in a senior community, but they’ve won me over. They’re taking excellent care of my family member.

"A Pleasant Visit to Consider for Loved One's Care"
We visited this community while looking at care options for a family member. I liked how nice everything looked! The building was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly. Unfortunately, they didn't have any openings when we were searching, but I would have definitely thought about choosing it!

"Building Shows Age, Memory Support Reassuring, But Not Ideal for Mom"
The building isn’t as nice as it was 10 years ago. They do have memory support, which is comforting to me. But it’s still difficult to see this place as the right fit for my mom, since she’s not at that level yet.
