"Improvements Needed for Assisted Living Facility Communication and Engagement"
This place has had a lot of new workers lately, but that seems pretty normal. Everyone is friendly, but they should tell families more about how their loved ones are doing. Like, maybe send out a newsletter or email every week, like they do at preschools. Especially for residents with memory issues who wander, they should have staff by the doors during group activities to guide them back. Sometimes they let residents go off to their rooms or watch TV instead of joining big events, which I think is a bummer because they miss out on fun stuff. They have helpful seminars about memory care and dementia, but they don't record them for people who can't come in person, even though I've asked. It would be nice if they sent those out to long-distance relatives.

"Not Recommended for Others"
My family member lived at Legacy Heights Senior Living Community before, but it wasn't a great experience. At first, things seemed okay, but after a few months, we decided to find a different place. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Decline in Service Quality at Assisted Living Facility"
This place used to be better. Now, there's too many residents compared to staff. Food isn't as tasty. Some workers aren't trained well. If you ring for help, you wait forever. Residents are friendly.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We were told they'd be very hands-on with new residents, but that didn't happen. No one interacted with us or guided us. During the first weekend, it seemed like no one knew my mom had moved in, and on Monday, she wasn't even listed at the front desk in her room. We had to constantly chase people for answers, especially about bathing. When we raised concerns about the lack of showers, the response was terrible. I had to write to the director about it. They told me to talk to the nursing assistant for extra help with dressing and getting into bed, but nothing changed. The staff who did help were great, but they weren't the bosses. I've thought about moving my mom somewhere else, but I'm trying to wait and see if things get better. We have a camera in the room, and we see our mom struggling. We've explained her needs, but nothing changes. They need to be quicker to respond. Even without our input, they should know by now that my mom can't dress herself or get into bed. Right now, I can't recommend this place until I see some progress or positive change.

"A Loving Community for Mom"
My mom really likes living there, and we would recommend it. Like any assisted living place, there are a few problems, but overall, we're happy. The people who work there are very loving and kind. We chose this community because it's bright and open, and she likes her room.

"Legacy Heights struggles with staffing; loved one relocated, sales impressive."
Legacy Heights doesn't have enough staff for all the people living there, so they couldn't take care of my loved one properly. She's doing much better at her new place. The people who sell the rooms were nice, though.

"Informative Tour, Not the Perfect Match"
We visited the place with our family, and they showed us around. It was a really nice tour, but it didn’t feel quite right for our family member.

"Poor Care Services at Assisted Living Facility"
Our family member often stayed in bed for days, sometimes sitting in urine. The experience was really disappointing. It started out well with a friendly salesperson, but the care services need big improvements. The on-site doctor couldn't find the right medicine, the bathrooms were dirty, and our loved one rarely got clean clothes. They couldn't even handle basic cleaning needs or keep their promises to our family.

"Clean and friendly facility!"
visited this place when I was checking out care options for my family member. The facility was really clean, and the staff I met were friendly and professional. The RN stood out as very competent. Although we chose a different community, this could have been a good option for my loved one.

"Clean, Friendly, and Highly Recommended Assisted Living"
We moved my mom to Legacy Heights a month ago. We looked at seven other assisted living places before picking this one. What really makes it special is how clean it is and how friendly all the staff are. It doesn’t have that usual odor found in many homes. The staff is always available to help with anything needed. So far, we’re very happy with Legacy Heights and would strongly recommend it. Mom is getting basic care with her medication given three times a day. There are daily activities like bingo, music, spiritual talks, scout troops, nail painting, crafts, and more for the residents.

"One and a Half Years In, Many Things Have Changed."
Our experience over the past year and a half has been just that—an experience. My loved one resides in the memory care building, and while the initial sales pitch was wonderful, it hasn’t quite lived up to expectations. The care staff doesn’t actively participate unless there’s a tour or a prescription for PT or OT. Simple requests, like yogurt for lunch, can turn into ordeals—you have to bring it yourself. And meals? Not as inclusive as we thought. While it’s not a bad place, sometimes I feel like I need a nanny cam.

"Uncertainty Regarding Assisted Living Facility"
I didn't really have big problems with them before. I used to think they were a 4-star place. But lately, I'm not so sure it's the best for my family member, who's still sharp in the mind. Still, I trust them. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I hope things improve. It's a nice spot, but maybe not the right fit for my loved one.

"Very nice place, our second choice"
We toured this place while searching for options for our loved one. We were really impressed by what we saw, and it came down to this community and one other. The facility looked very nice, and the staff were all very friendly. They also had a great variety of activities!

"Assisted living staff improving, some room for growth"
Last week, I noticed my mom's bathroom floor was sticky, with some spots from an accident. They cleaned it the next day, but it was still dirty. Overall, I'm satisfied, though some staff are better than others. I visit every day and notice how they treat others. The director is working on it. There are a few staff issues, but I feel better about her care.

"Lacking Warmth: Mixed Experience at Legacy Heights Assisted Living"
For three weeks, my mom has been living at Legacy Heights Assisted Living. She had to move from her previous independent living place where she was happy. Sadly, she fell and fractured her hip, spending eight weeks in rehab and unable to return to her old home. She's 92! Moving to a new place at her age is tough. Legacy Heights lacks warmth from some of the staff, though not all. Smiles and friendliness are missing. Her room is nice, with many clean doctors available. The ambiance is pleasant, and there are outdoor sitting areas, but they're often chilly at 76-78°F. My mom hasn't settled into a routine yet.

"This Is the Best Assisted Living Facility You Can Find"
Choosing the right assisted living facility is a tough decision. I visited 10 places, and while they all claimed to be top-notch, Legacy Heights really stood out. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the cozy, warm, and safe environment that makes it feel like home. I had a scheduled tour and also made an unplanned visit, and both times it felt just as welcoming. I spent 2 1/2 hours there 1 1/2 hours on my first visit and an hour on the second. I’m confident that my aunt is safe and well cared for here. She’ll be engaged in activities, not just waiting around for her next medication or meal. They treat everyone with kindness and respect. If you’re looking for a place for a loved one, Legacy Heights is as close to home as you can get while ensuring their safety.

"Top Assisted Living Facility: Bright, Active, and Friendly!"
This is the best place I’ve visited so far. It’s bright, bustling, and the residents are active. There are plenty of sensory experiences and scheduled activities. The staff I met were friendly. They have one room available now, and they use Montessori boxes, which align with their advertised practices.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Comfortable, Friendly, and Well-Organized"
Met with the director who explained it's non-smoking but flexible for Dad. Activities for men include Wii bowling in the main living room where about 10 to 12 residents gather. Each "neighborhood" has its own dining and TV rooms. Residents can eat and watch TV wherever they like. The menu is placed on the table, and residents choose their meals in advance. There's an "always" menu with options like grilled cheese and chef salad. Meals overall have nice choices, including a guys' steak and beer night at the end of the month. Rooms are quite nice, with the smallest being 307 square feet. The Studio Plus is particularly appealing with its separate sleeping and living areas, large bathroom, and great closet space. Mail is delivered outside the door, but cable and phone services cost extra. There's a slightly larger room with a kitchenette for an additional $300 per month, but it's not worth the extra cost. Studios overlook gardens and patios where Dad can watch wildlife. The Studio Deluxe overlooks the back parking lot but offers views of deer and rabbits. The Studio Plus is being redecorated with new carpet and paint, but the bathroom has issues with heat reaching 100 degrees. Despite this, the room is comfortable with no odors or institutional smells. It's very clean and everyone is friendly. Staff presence seemed minimal during the visit, with one CNA seen with a medication cart. Night checks are required. The room itself costs $2050 per month, with additional charges for personal assistance services at different levels ranging from $0 to $1500. They will schedule evaluations with Dad's MD before and after he moves in, and VA assistance may be needed.
