"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Initially, they promised great care, but it fell short. Only one nurse was available, not two as claimed. The food was consistently awful. However, the admissions director was fantastic during our move.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
I visited this place. It was neat, and the staff was nice. But it didn’t suit my loved one.

"Spacious Facility but Too Large for Our Loved One"
We visited this place in person and the tour was really nice, but the community was too big for our family member.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Meals"
Overall, our experience has been quite positive. The staff actively listen to our family’s feedback and collaborate to enhance our loved one’s well-being. However, there have been instances when dietary restrictions (like low salt and chopped food) weren’t fully met. Additionally, meal delivery delays have occurred. Improving the taste of meals for residents would be beneficial.

"Assisted Living: Mixed Experience with Room for Improvement"
The assisted living facility has a lovely building and friendly staff, but there are issues with understaffing, disorganization, and poor food service. We hope for improvements under new management.

"Inconsistent Care and High Staff Turnover at Assisted Living Facility"
The building looks nice, but there are a lot of different people taking care of residents because the staff keeps changing. Our loved one often ended up alone and sometimes wearing clothes that weren't theirs. Some of their things also disappeared. It's not worth the expensive price.

"High fees, poor care, bad food at MR."
My family member stayed at MR and I really wouldn't advise it. They constantly change the workers. The residents always see new faces which doesn't let them get comfortable with a familiar caregiver. The food was unappetizing too. One person living there mentioned the roast beef was tough and dry. They barely have enough workers to care for everyone, but the heavy fee they charge remains the same. My family member often felt dehydrated and dirty, with untidy hair and clothes put on the wrong way. Sometimes they even wore clothes belonging to other residents. The workers don't seem to care or notice these details. The building looks good from the outside, but there's nothing more to it than that.

"Caring staff and happy piano moments at Mallard Ridge"
My mom lived here for 6 months. Thanks to the owner for helping her get rehab after a fall. The staff treated her with love and care. She loved playing the piano, and both residents and staff enjoyed singing or listening in the activity room. My mom has passed away now, but I will always cherish her time at Mallard Ridge.

"Underwhelming Experience at Oversized Assisted Living Facility"
I didn't like it much. It was really big, loud, and didn't feel friendly. The person I talked to had to search for simple stuff like how much it costs, which they should've known already since I had an appointment. They don't even have a room open right now, but even if they did, I wouldn't choose it because it's too big and far away.

"Inconsistent Services at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living"
Mallard Ridge has a mix of great and not-so-great staff. It seems they've assumed that seniors don't appreciate good food. One day you get meat for breakfast, the next day you don't. It appears they can't even afford hand towels. I must admit, the place is clean. I've often had to remake our family member's bed. The comforter was somewhat tidy, but the sheets looked like someone had been rolling in them. I'm certain the owners wouldn't want their family member there, eating that food. I want to emphasize, some of the staff are excellent and genuinely care for the elderly. It's the poor performers that bring the place down, like the one who left our family member and then announced it was her break time. She left her there without running water. I understand some seniors can be difficult and stubborn. It requires a special kind of person to work with them. Considering what Mallard Ridge charges, they could improve. I guess the higher-ups are enjoying their breakfast at a nicer place. I've heard many people complain about the poor food quality, including some employees.

"Great Tour, Better Deal"
The place looked great, but we found a better deal elsewhere. The tour was enjoyable.
