"Pricey and Snobbish Atmosphere at Merrywood on Park"
I visited Merrywood on Park and it felt a bit snobbish. It was also much more expensive than [facility name removed], so we went with them instead.

"Dark and Depressing Assisted Living at MerryWood"
We visited MerryWood on Park, and it wasn't a good experience. The elevator sounded like it might break down, which worried us. The rooms were smaller than expected, and there wasn't enough natural light. Unlike another community we toured, no one at MerryWood stopped to chat with us in the hallway. MerryWood felt dark and sad, with many people using mobility devices. They had a musician playing in the common area, but there weren't enough seats, so people spilled into the hallway.

"MerryWood: A Place of Care and Friendship"
I think MerryWood on Park is awesome. They really look after the person I care about. They help the people living there feel strong and able to do things. It’s been a really good time for them. The person I care about enjoys making new friends. That’s something we really like about MerryWood on Park. They’re super involved in all the fun stuff there is to do. They go to all the cool parties and happenings at the place. Most times, the food is yummy, but sometimes they have a buffet, and they’re not too happy with that kind of meal.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We really like the cozy apartments on the independent living side, but they should improve their staffing and meals. Some staff members are friendly, but the kitchen staff can be rude to residents. The food quality varies, and the executive director doesn’t communicate well. They need to follow through better; their promises aren’t reliable.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Some parts of the building make it hard for residents using walkers or wheelchairs to move around in their own apartments and the rest of the building. They have a lot of activities like musicians coming in to play, clubs for things like poker and corn hole, and trips around the city to go to museums and shopping. The food is good with many choices.

"Good Staff and Clean, but Pricey During COVID"
This place is really clean, and most of the people who work here are awesome. It costs a bit more, but the folks who fix things have been doing a great job. The fun activities were really good until COVID hit.
