"Terrible Experience at Morningside of Wilmington"

The time my family member spent at Morningside of Wilmington was just awful. I definitely wouldn't suggest anyone else use this place.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Fails Basic Needs and Increases Costs"

I gave the cleanliness a 2 because they hardly ever clean the first floor. They struggle to hire staff, leaving everyone suffering except the owners who still get paid. They haven't had a driver for doctor appointments for a long time! This is not okay! We picked Morningside because of this, and we pay for it! Plus, the monthly price is going up! In short, Morningside has been very disappointing!

"Management Chaos and Communication Issues Mar Otherwise Caring Staff"

The staff was nice and took good care of us. But the managers were always confused and didn't talk to us enough. They were messy and didn't give us the papers we needed for our long-term care insurance, even after we asked many times in person and on the phone. A Place for Mom suggested it to us.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

My mom stayed there for just a week. It didn't go well, but she liked it better than the other place she visited. The staff was friendly, even though they were short-staffed and slow to respond. They used paper plates because they didn't have dishwashers. Unfortunately, my mom had to wait a long time for help.

"Helpful staff and close-knit community in a small facility"

The staff is very helpful and caters to your needs. They do many different jobs to ensure the residents are well taken care of. The small size of the facility helps residents get to know each other better.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Care Expectations"

I wish I hadn't moved my mom to Morningside. I worried she'd get help when needed, but the call bell often went unanswered. When I talked to the boss about it, they got mad and didn't explain why. The call bell system means waiting while staff handle other tasks. Don't bother asking for help during dinner; they're too busy. If someone falls, they'll wait too. Toilet paper runs out often, and staff turnover is high. They promised therapy but didn't deliver because of staffing issues. One resident cried all day in the hallway, ignored by staff.

"Morningside: Needs More Staff and Better Food"

My family member lives at Morningside of Wilmington's Memory Care section. So far, it's not been too good. They need more workers in the Memory Care area. Plus, the food could be better.

"Nice staff, decent place for residents"

This place isn't the best, but it's good enough for the people living here. It's an older community. The staff are really nice and easy to work with.

"Staffing and Communication Issues Plague Morningside Assisted Living"

Morningside has some problems because they don't have enough staff, and the ones they do have keep leaving. This means the care for the people living there isn't always great. It seems like they don't have a good way to make sure everyone does their job right. Also, the people working there don't always talk to each other well. In just five weeks, the head nurse, the director, and the chef all left.

"Positive Virtual Experience and Helpful Video Chat at Assisted Living"

Our family had a virtual tour of the community, and it was nice. They also sent us a video that we watched, and then we joined a virtual chat where we could ask any questions we had.
