"Caring Place with Friendly Staff"
We’re really happy with the care my loved one gets at Oliver House. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, organized, and the staff are friendly. They take time to know your family and the new chef’s Southern-style cooking is great.

THANKFUL PERSON
"Peaceful and Easy Adjustment"
My family member stayed there and it was really easy for her to get used to... She was very calm and enjoyed her time there without any issues.

"Poor Care and Staffing Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
We only had my mom here for a few days before we had to take her out. I can't get into the details, but they didn't deliver the care they promised. We had big problems with how they handled her medications and there were also troubles with the staff. Mom's health is better now that she's home and I feel much better knowing she's being cared for properly.

"Dreadful Experience: Neglect and Poor Conditions at Nursing Home"
I absolutely wouldn't recommend this nursing home to anyone! My Dad, who had dementia, was in this place for several years. He fell there, it caused his death, and no one apparently saw the fall. A friend's mother also had a bad experience here, getting served bologna sandwiches because they apparently ran out of real food. The whole place reeked. Sure, they tried to clean it up a bit and it got slightly better, but that didn't save it. They would wash the residents' clothes and end up ruining them with bleach spots. My Dad lost a pair of pricey shoes there, along with some of his nice clothing. It's just heartbreaking. A few days after Dad was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening injury from his fall— he'd hit his head hard and developed a bleeding in the brain—No one from the nursing home bothered to call and check on him. Please, don't leave your loved ones in this place!

"Poor Quality Care and Filthy Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
My grandma didn't get food for a whole day and a half. We found her in a bad condition. We couldn't even wake her up. No one noticed that she didn't eat, even after she missed her meals in the dining area. The place is filthy. It often stinks badly. On the weekends, there's no one around who seems to be responsible or in charge. My grandma didn't get all the medicines she was supposed to take, but they marked it as given on the form. Her call button wasn't working for days. It's like everyone is over their heads here.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"
I visited often and volunteered, but it was just okay. They need to clean better; it smelled like pee. And they seemed short-staffed, which is a problem everywhere.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Not Like Apartments, Off-Site Doctors"
I'm not too impressed. The doctors aren't on site. Rooms are individual or shared. They're not like apartments.
