"Poor Condition Facility; Director Caring but Improvement Needed"
A Place for Mom recommended us this assisted living community. I don't think it's a right example of the places they show off. The moment I walked in, I saw the carpet; it was old and ripped. It didn't make me feel good, honestly. The entrance was like an emergency room with lots of people in wheelchairs, giving me a real uneasy vibe. The whole place felt unhealthy. The director, on the other hand, was really kind. She was going around, hugging the residents, showing how much she cared. Even so, the place needs a major upgrade. It reminded me too much of a hospital and I didn't want my loved one living in such a setting.

"Professional, Caring Staff and Smooth Move-In Experience"
I was really happy to discover that Somerset is both professional and caring. The staff, from the director to the maintenance guy, have been very helpful, friendly, and kind. Our move-in day went smoothly. Grandma was happy with her new "apartment," and I feel confident and safe leaving her there.
