"Mixed Feelings on Food at Spring Arbor Assisted Living"
I think Spring Arbor is a good place for Mom's care, but she and many other residents don't like the food.

"Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Clean Facilities"
The staff at Spring Arbor of Wilmington is very friendly and caring. Housekeeping is good; beds are clean and clothes are washed. The move-in process was smooth, accommodating our weekend arrival with smiles and warmth. However, the Memory Care unit lacks variety in activities. More options would enhance the experience. Overall, it's a satisfactory place.

"Spring Arbor: Lacking Supervision for Memory Care Patients"
The folks at this place aren't watched closely enough. My wife's dad even managed to leave the property and was found wandering on a busy street all by himself. They really need to improve their program for people with memory issues so they can't just wander off and get into dangerous situations. I wouldn't suggest Spring Arbor of Wilmington if you're searching for a place that provides good care for memory loss patients.

"Consistently attentive care in a cozy environment; highly recommended."
This place is smaller but really hands-on, which I like a lot. It's very good and they take great care of my loved one. I would definitely recommend it. The staff turnover is very low. When I visit my loved one, I see the same caregivers every time. I think that shows how well the aides treat the residents and how good Spring Arbor is as a workplace.

"Great Services and Activities Mom Happy in New Assisted Living"
So far, the things they do and how they talk with us seem good. Mom likes this place more than the one before. They have hair and nails services, lots of activities inside and out, physical therapy, doctors visit here, and the food is pretty good.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Reliable Food"
We’re super happy with our experience. My family member wanted a smaller community, and this place feels like home—not like a hotel. It’s been great; my loved one enjoys their time here. The food is good and reliable, which is a big plus. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to. Sometimes I’ve had to hunt down answers, but once I do, they give complete responses that make me happy.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience: Lack of Activities and Care"
I'm not happy with this place. We had to put our loved one here at the start of Covid, so we didn't tour it well. Also, we had to decide quickly with limited options. When I visit, the cushions are dirty from spills. Our loved one's clothes are dirty too, and she seems unwashed since she doesn't have a shower in her bathroom. They take residents to the shower on certain days. Some of her belongings have gone missing. The furniture and décor are old, and they don't allow personal items in memory care. It's very sad inside. The staff is nice but not very helpful. They might have too much to do. There's not enough staff, and they change managers and nurses a lot. I don't see many activities, unlike in other places. Busy minds are important, but they're not doing that here, even after Covid. They charge a lot, but it's not worth it without proper care. My loved one is declining since moving here. She complains about the food and has lost weight. We're unsure whether to move her. Most days she says she's okay here, so we're hesitant to change. But if I could go back, I wouldn't choose this place.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
Our move-in process was confusing due to Covid restrictions. We couldn't see the room beforehand, so we didn't know what to expect. It took time to arrange furniture after moving in. Without meeting the staff beforehand, we couldn't discuss our concerns or preferences. We weren't informed about providing essentials like soap and toilet paper. It took 2-3 months to fully settle in and there are still minor issues. However, the staff has been very responsive. The room cleanliness was not up to standard initially, with lingering dust. Despite this, the facility overall is tidy. The front desk attendant knows me by name and is helpful. Some staff members, like personal aides and laundry staff, have been exceptionally supportive. The onsite doctor is friendly and attentive. Figuring out online accounting has been a challenge but manageable. Overall, our experience has been positive. Staff are accommodating and I trust they care for our loved ones well. They receive plenty of attention and are content. I appreciate the transparent pricing structure allowing different care levels to stay together.

"Limited Services and Quarantine Restrictions Disappoint at Assisted Living Facility"
This place didn't have much physical therapy because of quarantine. We couldn't eat in the dining room. It didn't fit my needs, and whenever we went out, we had to quarantine again.
