We chose this place since it was the only one available. Expensive but good care.

"A Welcoming and Well-Kept Assisted Living Choice"
We picked Sunrise of Cary because when we visited, they were ready, super nice, and didn't rush us. We saw everything from the dining room to where the residents live. We talked with current residents, who seemed happy. It was clean, and everyone looked well-groomed. The ladies' hair was brushed, the men's beards trimmed—they all looked great. It costs more than average for assisted living, but it's worth it for the care she gets. They have lots of outings and a nice outdoor area. They offer on-demand doctors and in-house therapy, which we use. Overall, we're happy, and she loves it's her home now.

"Pleasant Visit, but Costly and Far Away"
We had a really nice time looking around Sunrise of Cary. It’s more like a fancy hotel than a place for old folks. But it costs too much, and it’s too far from our house. If you’re checking out places like this for someone you care about, make sure to ask what happens if they get really sick. Sometimes they can’t take care of them anymore, and you’ll have to find another place.

"High cost for unnecessary care level at Sunrise of Cary."
We liked Sunrise of Cary, but it was too pricey. Our loved one didn't need intensive care yet.

"Helpful Tour, Clean Place"
I have no complaints about the tour I took of this property. The staff were on time for our appointment and made sure to answer all our questions in great detail. The property was clean, and they seemed to have many great amenities for the residents. In the end, it just wasn't the right fit for us.

"Sunrise tour leaves me impressed!"
After checking out three facilities, we decided to try Sunrise. During our friendly tour, we noticed staff engagement with residents. Next week, Dad moves from Rehab, and Mom will join him. The program lets us try it out, even providing furniture for Dad's short stay. Impressive! The building is clean, bright, and peaceful, with a beautiful front porch where you can listen to the birds singing.

"A Tour Nearer Home"
I visited this community to explore care options for my family. I had a conversation with the salesman. They provided a list of activities that would have been available if we decided to move in. Although the location was quite distant, we were impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance both inside and outside the community.

We thought this community was really nice. The staff who gave us the tour were friendly and helpful, and the residents seemed happy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit for my husband.

"Assisted Living Facility Fell Short of Expectations!!"
I wasn't satisfied with this place. They couldn't take care of my mom properly. While we were checking it out, the staff kept changing. Every time I visited, I talked to a different person. Also, the floor where they wanted to put my mom's room had no attendants.

"Lovely neighborhood for Dad with Alzheimer's"
We moved our dad, who has Alzheimer's, into Sunrise's Reminiscence Neighborhood after our mom passed away. It was a tough choice, but we wanted a safe, comfortable place with caring staff. Every worker, no matter their job, is friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean (and smells clean) and has beautiful outdoor areas to sit. Dad can come and go as he pleases with our supervision. He can freely explore his neighborhood and, with his caregivers, visit other parts of the facility, which isn't common at all memory care places. His care team is assigned to him and a few others, so they really get to know him.
