"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The food and dining place in Memory Care weren't good. The place looks nice, and the people working there are friendly.

"Sunrise of Raleigh Great Care and Support for Loved Ones"
My experience with Sunrise of Raleigh to find the right care for my dad was really good. We looked at a few places, and both of the Sunrise places we saw were really nice and well-maintained. The staff were very nice to us. Since my dad moved in, the caregivers have been very supportive of him, and they're really kind to my mom when she comes to visit every day.

"Satisfied at Sunrise, Food Could Be Better"
I live at Sunrise right now. I like playing bingo and hanging out with people during the fun stuff we do. The food’s not the best, but I’m pretty happy living here overall.

"Warm Community and Choice Activities Shine at Sunrise of Raleigh"
I really like Sunrise of Raleigh because of the people who work here. I can pick what I want to do every day, whatever fits my mood. The other residents are like family to me, and being here makes me feel like I belong.

"Tragic Accident and Neglect at Sunrise of Raleigh"
Our grandma was only in this place for three days when she took a fall while nobody was watching. She ended up breaking her hip and passed away just three weeks after that. I'm giving Sunrise of Raleigh absolutely no stars.

"Bland Meals"
Sunrise of Raleigh is a nice, friendly place. Room cleaning could improve, but communication and moving in were easy. The food, unfortunately, lacks flavor—my husband's main gripe!

"Caring Staff, Food Needs Improvement at Sunrise"
We’re pretty happy with Sunrise, but there are a couple of things that could be better. The people who work there are super nice and they really care about my husband. They’re always gentle with him. Since he can’t use his left side, he has trouble with food that needs to be opened or cut up, and that’s something that keeps happening. We’ve talked about it a lot, but it’s still a problem. Also, the meals are kind of tasteless, and that’s tough for someone who’s tasted food from all around the globe. But what matters a lot is that the folks taking care of him are really thoughtful and kind.

"Very Pleased With Our Experience"
Setting aside our connections to people who've worked or lived here, we toured this community and were quite impressed. Mom is adjusting well, enjoying the residents more than the activities. The food is decent, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Having an insider's view helps determine if it's a good fit.

"Assisted Living Community Falls Short on Promises for Higher Care"
From what we've experienced here, it's not the right fit for my wife. I thought they could handle all her needs, but they didn't follow through on their promises. She needs skilled nursing, which they can't provide. The assisted living part is nice, but not for higher care.

"A bit pricey..."
The assisted living facility was pleasant, but we opted for another due to better deals and a preference for private rooms.

When I toured this place, it felt nice. The staff were friendly, and they had good amenities and activities. But for my loved one, it wasn't quite the right fit.

"Clean and Friendly, But Layout Not Preferred"
We visited this place when searching for a home for my mom. It was clean and the staff were nice. I didn't pick it because I didn't like how the rooms were set up. They seemed like they turned one big room into two bedrooms. And if you wanted a bigger room, you had to pay more. But overall, it left a good impression.

"Nice community, but lacking necessary care."
We visited this place while searching for a home for my mom. It was really clean, and the staff was friendly. However, I didn't like that there were so many independent residents. I thought she'd receive better care elsewhere.

The people here were really nice and very helpful when we visited. The community was clean and looked nice. We also saw the residents doing things, and they seemed happy. The only problem was the distance.

We liked this community it was nice, and the people were helpful. But the cost was too high for what we wanted, and they offered more than my husband needed.

"A Welcoming Place"
When I first visited this community, I liked that it was a pleasant place. Since my husband moved in, he's been doing well. The staff is friendly and respectful, and the place is always clean. He enjoys every lunch, and there are good alternatives available. The activities have been enjoyable too. I'd recommend this community.

"Awful Living Conditions: A Real-Life Nightmare"
Workers are always missing, the place is disgustingly dirty, and the person in charge just doesn't care about the residents' families! Please don't let anyone you care about live here.

"Managers, Step Up and Address Understaffing Issues!"
Even though they have some nice folks working at this facility, it is evident they need more staff. While they maintain they have enough personnel, it tends to be two aids short because folks just won't show up. Unfortunately, the people in charge don't step in to fill the gap. This results in overworking the existing staff and consequently, tasks are left undone. Surprisingly, they can plan a large party, but not have enough people to accompany the residents to the restroom. In my opinion, a facility is only as efficient as its management team, who, in this case, appear reluctant to lend a hand. Activities may be exciting one week and the next, not so much. Just because it's scheduled, doesn't mean it will take place. This is common and weekends are notably slow. The rooms vary in sizes with quite a number being tiny with bathrooms that are really small; it's as if they never considered wheelchair accessibility. On the bright side, however, the food is decent. It's high time the managers up their game!

"Missed Information Due to Tour Guide Absence"
The community looked really nice. We didn't get the full tour because the regular tour guide was sick. Instead, the dining room director showed us around. He was friendly, but couldn't answer all our questions. We felt like we missed out on learning a lot about the community.
