"Mixed Feelings About Sunrise of Providence Assisted Living"
Communication is really poor. They should update furniture or clean it. My sister got Covid while staying there. The cost seems too high for what we get. Right now, we might suggest Sunrise of Providence to others.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
The workers are nice and make it enjoyable. But sometimes they don't share health info well. It's pricey, but Mom's content, which is what counts. Handling bills is tough, got a late fee without explanation. Plus, there were extra charges we didn't get. They didn't tell us the pharmacy bills separately. Mom's happy, so it's alright.

"Perfect Size for Dad, Great Care, Highly Recommend!"
Sunrise was just right for my dad. It's big enough for him to meet people and do different things, but not so big that it's too much. The Care Coordinators are really nice and take great care of him. Sunrise can give him the special help he needs in assisted living. I think other families would like Sunrise of Providence too.

"Unexpected Price Change at Costly Community"
I thought the place was too pricey. They gave me a cost, then attempted to alter it.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The building was hard to navigate, especially for me. I worry about how tough it'd be for someone with Alzheimer's, even with the picture boxes. Lighting felt dim overall. Upstairs was brighter and staff were friendly.

"Spacious and Lovely Assisted Living, but Could Be Overwhelming"
This place is nice. It looks after the people living there and keeps everything clean. The rooms are big, but that makes it cost more. I'm worried my mom might feel lost in such a big place.

"Facility Doesn't Live Up to Promises"
This place is not that great. They talked a big game at first, but they've let us down in countless ways. They've been dodgy about many of the things they originally promised us. And they're seriously slow when it comes to helping out when someone needs it. I'm starting to look at other places for my mom that will actually meet her needs.

"Budget Concerns Despite Good Tour"
I had a really good tour of the place. It was nice that they set it up for us. But after thinking about it, we realized it was too expensive for us.

"Avoid This Facility: Reported to State & Plagued with Issues"
This facility is just terrible. My friend has been staying here for some time now and it's heartbreaking to see how unhappy everyone is. There's a fresh group of staff every week - no consistency at all. I wouldn't dream of letting my family members live here. Watch out! Word's out that they have been reported to both the state and Department of Social Services.

"Love This Place! Top-Notch Care and Delicious Food"
We really love this place. It’s way better than other places I’ve seen. The food is delicious, and my loved one really likes it. They always keep everything clean and tidy. They truly go above and beyond for the residents.

"A Happy Experience"
We're really happy with Sunrise. Moving there went smoothly. It was a bit different for Mom since she's used to living on her own, but she's adjusting well to assisted living. It's only been a month, but we're impressed with what we've seen so far. Mom seems content, and the staff has been incredibly kind and helpful. Sunrise is just the right size, not too big or impersonal.

"Attentive care and clean environment, lacks social worker support."
Overall, Sunrise of Providence does a great job. The staff are nice, caring, and patient. They really take care of the residents well. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for everyone. It would be better if they had a social worker on staff, though. Sometimes it's hard to find the right person when you need help.

"Nice place, overall!"
Sunrise on Providence has been great overall! It looks nice and stays very clean. The staff works hard to make new residents feel welcome. However, the food needs improvement. There aren't many choices, and meal times are restrictive.

"Expensive Rates at Assisted Living Facility Not Including Care Costs"
Living here isn't cheap. A 300 sq. feet studio costs around $3660 each month. If you want a bigger studio, it's $4050. And a one-bedroom ranges from $3750-$4650. Those prices don't count care, which adds another $527-$2480 on top. Plus, there's a one-time 'membership' fee that's $2000.

"Sunrise: The Best Assisted Living in Charlotte"
We toured Sunrise on Tuesday, February 25th. Out of the 9 properties we've visited in the Charlotte area, Sunrise is the best. The floorplan is great, with short halls leading to a central area. There are many sitting and gathering areas throughout the building, not just on the first floor. It's bright and sunny because of the skylights on the 2nd floor and the high ceilings and windows in many rooms.

"Outrageously Expensive and Poor Service"
This place costs way too much. Workers are always coming and going. They make you pay for things they never even provide. Once you become a resident, don't expect the prices to stop rising. This place is the definition of a money-grubbing company. The new boss is extremely unprofessional and uncaring.

"Mixed Parking, Cozy Atmosphere; Director Awesome, Varied Activities Daily"
Parking is difficult. The place feels cozy like home. It's quiet here. The director is really great. The rooms are on the smaller side. There are dedicated caregivers. They have activities specifically for men. They offer many activities throughout the day.
