"Care Issues in Secure Unit, Initial Area Was Better"
We really liked the assisted living area at first. However, they moved her to a more secure unit, and her health started to decline. We think she didn’t need that extra level of care yet, and her old room was rented out the very next day. She was very happy in her original room. Now, she’s in a place where she can't even talk to the other residents, and she’s very sociable. I've been there twice and found that there was no toilet paper in her room or bathroom, even though they promised it would be provided. The pull cord for help has never been fixed. It seems like this area doesn’t get as much attention or care as the rest. This is how both my brother and I feel.

"Great location, still observing after a short stay"
The facility is great for my sister and close to our home. I can't give a full rating yet because she's only been there for a short time. I’m still watching how things go.

"Great place with friendly staff and clean facilities!"
We visited Harmony at Hope Mills while looking for a Memory Care place for our family member. This place was fantastic. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. The staff and activities looked really good too!

"Better Care Needed at Original Facility"
The reason for the 3-star rating was my relative got moved to the memory unit. I didn't like the care she received there. The place always smelled like urine, and it was really depressing. We've since moved her to a different facility, which feels more professional and engaging. She's now on Hospice, which has improved her overall care. The price was similar to other places, but the memory unit cost more than the other facility by about $ per month.

"Unwelcoming Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited Harmony at Hope Mills in person. The community felt sterile and unfriendly, lacking a welcoming atmosphere.

"Monthly Rent Issue Dampens Otherwise Friendly Experience at Harmony"
The Harmony Hope Mills staff was nice and caring. They made sure the residents had lots to do every day. But, when I moved my mom out on time, they still charged me for an extra month. Now, I have to wait for a refund, which is frustrating.

"Friendly staff and lots of activities for residents and families"
What our family really likes about Harmony at Hope Mills is that they offer many activities each month for residents to enjoy. They also invite family members to join in on some of these activities. The staff is very friendly and takes the time to learn family members' names.

"Father Adjusted Well, Food Feedback Noted with Good Communication"
We're happy overall. Dad settled in well, but food's his gripe. Communication's great; they're responsive. Meals are thrice daily, restaurant-style with menu choices. He finds it tough, but won't complain; respecting his choice. Seems he's eating enough—maintained and even gained weight.

"Mixed Feedback on Assisted Living Facility"
It's noticed that staff and hospice lack communication. Patients need help cutting meal portions with proper utensils. Laundry gets lost despite names on items, and clothes aren't returned correctly. Supervision between shifts lacks, affecting patient care. Some staff care deeply; others seem less committed until shift change.

"Great food, mixed staff, close to home"
My loved one really likes the food here. It's been a big change for both of us. Some of the staff are more caring than others. I chose this place because of the great reviews and its location near home.

"Concerns About Mom's Safety"
My main worry about my mom is that she's had multiple falls while there. The doctor only visits once or twice a week, and her swollen hand needs an X-ray promptly.
