"Mixed Impressions at Assisted Living Facility"
The house looked nice, but nearby homes were a bit worn. During my visit, the lady who cares for residents was there a kind Jamaican lady. The house smelled like homemade food, she was frying chicken. It was clean and very tidy. She assists with showers, but residents need to step into the tub with her help it has a side door. They have to use the toilet on their own; there's a raised seat, but the bathrooms are small. I'm unsure if my mom could manage with a walker. The outdoor sitting area was pleasant, and residents go elsewhere for activities. The level of care might not be enough for my mom, but I'll check out more homes.

"Beautiful home, some concerns."
The home was beautiful, but the surrounding houses were a bit shabby. The lady who cares for the residents during the day is very nice—a Jamaican lady. The house smelled of home-cooked food (she was making fried chicken). It was clean and neat. However, residents have to step into the tub with her help (the tub has a side access door), and they must use the toilet independently. The bathrooms are small, and I'm not sure if my mother could manage with a walker. The outdoor sitting area was pleasant, and residents go elsewhere for activities. The level of care might not be sufficient for my mom, but I'll explore other options.
