"Gloomy and Depressing Atmosphere Unfit for Loved One"
This place was very gloomy and sad, certainly not the vibe we were seeking for our family member.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility for seniors"
The building looks nice, but they can't handle serious memory problems well. There aren't enough qualified nurses - just one for everyone. The new managers don't seem as caring about the seniors' issues. Lots of staff leave, and the new director seems uncaring.

"Mixed experience: Clean facility, but dim living room layout didn't suit."
When I toured the community, I saw the available apartments. The bedroom layouts weren't quite what I wanted. The living room lacked natural light, with the only window near the bedroom. The place was clean and had many amenities, but it didn't suit my loved one.

"Mixed Experience at Granville Assisted Living, Worth a Look"
We visited Granville Assisted Living for my loved one's care. Overall nice, but no suitable rooms available during our tour. Worth considering if nearby.

"Big on service, caring staff, family atmosphere"
This place is small but big on service and care. It feels like family here with nice patios and gardens. There are fun activities, church services, a beauty salon, and all rooms are on one level, close to the dining area. The staff is very caring. For example, when my mom wanted to have lunch with her siblings one weekend, but the dining area was being used for another event, they made special arrangements for her in her apartment. They prepared a nice meal with her favorite dessert using her recipe, and set it up with beautiful linens and dishes, just like she would have done. This shows how much the director, Colette, cares about the residents. Colette leads by example and always checks in with residents and their families to make sure they are happy. Each staff member tries to understand what is important to each resident and encourages them to be as independent as possible. Family members are welcome and encouraged to join in activities and help with their loved one's care. The cost for this level of care is more reasonable and fair at Granville compared to other places.

"Mom’s happy and adjusted well with friendly staff"
Mom is really happy here and has adjusted nicely. She’s made friends quickly, making the move easier than we hoped. The staff is all very friendly and helpful.

"Just an Average Assisted Living Place"
Granville is a single-story living place. The costs are similar to other places nearby. There’s a spot right behind the community where big trucks get parked. All in all, it’s a pretty standard community without any special features that make it stand out from the rest.
