"Isolation Impact Hard on Residents, Facility Slowly Reopening"

This review comes from what my dad shares with me since I live out of town. I sometimes talk to the director, and she mentioned they are beginning to open up places like the dining room and are planning to start activities soon too. All the residents are fully vaccinated with both shots. Before the virus, things seemed like they were going to be pretty good. But, my dad has really struggled because of the isolation caused by COVID.

"Stay Away! They Don't Care about Residents"

I live here. If you can pay for somewhere else, don't stay here. They don't bother about us residents.

"Improved Cleaning and Homely Feel"

Cleaning used to be slow, but with an extra staff member, it's improving. Overall, feeling at home.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"

Once I figured out the right building, my tour got delayed until after lunch. They answered all my questions. Lunch was just okay, with tiny portions and plain food: a piece of baked fish, an overcooked baked potato, and green bean casserole. It provided adequate nutrition but didn’t look or taste very appealing. The two-bedroom apartment was fascinating—it had been updated and now serves as the model for the entire complex. The furnishings were lovely, and the floor plan offered versatile room use. However, the common areas and hallways desperately needed renovation. On the bright side, the residents appeared content and friendly. Considering the area, the overall cost is a steal.
