The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. They create a warm and welcoming community. However, my mom thinks the food lacks seasoning and variety. Some baked goods are too dry, and the soups are too thick.

"Tiny Apartments and Lack of Activities Disappointing in Assisted Living"
The staff was really nice, but it wasn't what we wanted. The apartment was too small and didn't have enough to keep him busy. Pathfinder only had a craft room and a TV. Plus, it was more expensive.

"Understaffed Assisted Living Facility Leads to Emergency Chaos"
As prettier as this place looks, don't be fooled. This pretty and tidy place sure needs a makeover for their nursing staff. I was sent here by a company to help the residents, but ended up alone all night. During an emergency with a resident, confused and not knowing who to contact, I finally located a contact list. But the number I dialed for the nurse went straight to voicemail. I made lots of calls that shouldn't have been needed just to reach the nurse. When she finally returned my call, she found it amusing that her work phone wasn’t working. Thank the heavens for the emergency service folks and the hospice lady who assisted me that night. I will definitely steer clear from this place in the future. If you care for your loved ones, I suggest you look for some other place that has enough folks to look after the residents properly.

My parents' move to this community has been positive so far. It's still improving, but I feel good about their decision. The place is nice and the people are friendly.

"Wonderful care and compassion during my mom’s last years."
My mother recently passed away. She spent her last years at Pathfinder House/Place, and I’m so grateful she did. There were some issues with the building in the past, but things have been great for the last three years since Eric became the administrator. My mom felt at home with the staff, and we felt like we were part of a special family too. I was amazed when former staff members came back to visit her when she was sick. I can't say enough about the staff and how Eric made my mom’s last three years so special. When he visited her in the hospital the night she passed, the smile he put on her face still brings tears of gratitude to my eyes. It's not the biggest place in Fremont, but it has the biggest heart.

"My mom's final home"
My mother recently passed away. She spent her last years at Pathfinder House/Place, and I couldn’t be more grateful. While there were some issues in the past, things have been very good since Eric became the administrator three years ago. My mom felt like she was at home with family, and we felt embraced by a special family too. I was touched when staff who had moved on came back to visit mom during her final days. I can’t say enough about how Eric and the staff made my mom’s last three years special. "Too far for Mom; as distant as Bellevue; sounded nice."
Review: Mom liked the place, but it's too far. It's as far as Bellevue from our home.
