"Affordable Assisted Living Worth Recommending"

The place was alright. I chose it because it was affordable, close by, and felt right. Overall, I'd suggest it to others.

"“Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility”"

It used to be better as Waterford, but things went downhill after the ownership change. Some staff members are excellent, but many good ones left. The remaining staff stay because they care about the residents. Unfortunately, the new management doesn’t treat workers well. The food was never great, and now almost half the rooms are empty. They’re hiring new people, but will they stay? We left just in case.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvements"

This place is changing. Meals lack protein, smaller portions, no fresh fruits. High staff turnover. Laundry done biweekly. Pleasant staff. No activities director but they have Bingo.

""Steer Clear Of This Assisted Living Community""

I'd suggest avoiding this place at all costs.

"Happy Resident, Needs Better Communication"

They need to get better at talking to each other and answering faster, but our family member really likes the food, dining area, and all the fun stuff there is to do. The Waterford lets you have pets too, which was super important for us.

"Great Care and Friendly Staff at Waterford Assisted Living"

We were really happy with Waterford. We had a great experience overall. The staff was very caring and friendly, and we would definitely suggest this place to others.

"Decent Facility, But Could Improve"

I'd say it's okay to send someone there. It feels like they charge too much for what they offer. I think they need more staff. The meals sometimes aren't what my family member hopes for. They do try to meet special diet needs though.

"Communication Issues Need Improvement, Otherwise Great Facility"

We chose The Waterford at Miracle Hills because they said they had a doctor on site. My mom was moving, and we didn't want to switch doctors. They assured us she could keep her doctor, which was convenient. We liked the size of her room. However, overall communication was not good. I often called asking for calls back, but it never happened. Communication between the director and the nurses was not good either. That was the biggest problem. Despite this, it's a nice place compared to others we saw. I would recommend it, but warn about the communication issues.

"Friendly Staff and Spacious Rooms"

We picked The Waterford At Miracle Hills because when we toured it, we had nice chats with the staff, and we liked them. It looked really clean and like it would be a good place for us. The rooms here are pretty big, especially the two-bedroom ones. Even the one-bedroom ones were bigger than others we looked at. The food could be better though; they’ve had a lot of changes with the head chefs. The best thing about this place so far is how caring and friendly the staff are overall.

"Great Value and Caring Staff"

I think the care here is pretty affordable. The people who work here are super friendly. They make sure each person gets the care they need and have plans just for them. The rooms are big and the place is set up nicely. The food tastes good, and there’s a nice outside area for everyone to enjoy.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

While my mom was living at the care center, someone took her toilet paper when everyone had to stay in their rooms because of the flu and the Corona virus. They said they would give us new rolls, but that never happened. Also, a few workers weren’t nice when she was leaving. Except for these things, the place was alright.

"Well-maintained assisted living with a touch of vintage charm."

Like [community removed], this place is a bit older, but it's kept up pretty well.

"Cozy Assisted Living with Excellent Lunch"

The place is cozy and simple, but it feels carefully planned. The central courtyard is calm and beautifully landscaped, although the building is surrounded by noisy city sounds and feels somewhat isolated. The lunch is excellent!

"Quiet Courtyard, Excellent Lunch!"

The place is small and modest, but it seems well-thought-out. The central courtyard is peaceful and beautifully landscaped, although the building is surrounded by city noise and feels isolated. The lunch is excellent!

"Assisted Living Review"

The place was super clean and looked after really well. The people working there were really nice and took their time with us during our visit. But I think they need more help for folks with memory problems. They should think about offering more intense care options.

"Great Place, But Needs Better Memory Care"

The place was super tidy and looked after really well. The people who worked there were really nice and understanding when my loved one and I visited. But it seemed like they could do better with taking care of people who have trouble remembering things. They should think about offering more focused care.

"Clean, good food, but some issues with care and bugs"

The place is clean, but it looks old and the lighting in her apartment isn’t great. The food is very good, but the portions are small. The care has been mostly good, but she had a problem with one of the caregivers. She pushed her button to get help going to the dining room in her wheelchair. When the caregiver came, they said not to push the button unless it’s an emergency. The buttons are supposed to be for when you're ready to go. She has had insects, including ants in the bathroom and big spiders. They did send someone to spray and clean them up.

"Very Friendly Staff"

Everyone at The Waterford at Miracle Hills was super friendly. They made everything really easy for us. However, it seems like the place is more geared toward assisted living rather than respite care, which is what we needed. Despite that, they were all very nice and skilled at what they do.

"Friendly and Helpful Staff"

I recommend The Waterford at Miracle Hills. Dealing with my mother's health situation has been tough, but the staff has been friendly and helpful. Communication had some challenges, but overall, it's been good. The nursing staff, especially, is excellent.

"Expensive and Disappointing: Not Worth the Cost"

My loved one didn't like being alone in the apartment. She prefers having a roommate. It was too expensive. They charged us $2500 for just 2 days. I thought that was too much. The facility was very clean and everything seemed okay. But my loved one didn't like it there. The value wasn't good at all. It's just too costly. The Waterford at Miracle Hills wasn't that great.

"Happy Living at The Waterford"

My mom moved into The Waterford at the end of December 2014, and she loves it here. There are lots of activities for her to choose from, the meals are great, and she enjoys eating with her friends. The staff is friendly, and the management listens to feedback. I feel confident that she is in a safe, welcoming place, and I’m very happy with her choice. My siblings visit her often and have only good things to say.

"Problems at Head Office: Care Facility Questioned"

Like others, I've got doubts about the head of this facility. She acts really unkind, more focused on finishing her day job from Monday through Friday than on serious issues that crop up at other times. Backing up a nurse under her who doesn't seem all that smart, she rubs me the wrong way. The rest of the workers are usually nice, but a lot of them don't stick around for long. The place looks good, but that doesn't balance out the lousy leadership.

"The atmosphere felt most like home."

It's really clean and more spacious than most. They have lots of open seating areas and plenty of activities. Mom says the food is awesome—I'd give that part a five. Communication among staff could be better, especially with families. Sometimes they tell Mom something, and I don't find out for a while, if at all. When we were looking, they had availability. The atmosphere felt most like home; they stood out from the rest.

"Fancy Assisted Living, Nice but Overly Fancy Meals, Offers VA Aid"

This place is fancy and the food is nice, maybe a bit too high-end though. They do offer help for veteran families.

"Helpers and leaders often lack assistance for residents"

The helpers and people in charge often don't assist the residents.

"Pricey Managerial Complex Hinders Budget Access in Assisted Living Facility"

The boss there seemed all fancy and said the costs were a bit more, which meant we still couldn't afford it.

"Waterford is Wonderful"

The Waterford at Miracle Hills is a nice, clean place for seniors. The staff is friendly and well-trained. After searching extensively, we found that the Waterford offers the right services and activities for our father. We trust them to keep him safe. Communication with residents and families is excellent, and my father's quality of life has improved during his time at Waterford.

"Assisted Living Facility Provides Good Experience for Residents and Families"

We've had a good time here. It's clean, and people are nice. Food's good; Mom and Dad enjoy it. The staff really care about our opinions and happiness. We're glad we could use Medicare after a while.

"Affordable, clean, with life-saving alert system. Highly recommend."

The assisted living facility is really nice. They have a system called Lifem Alert, which is great for emergencies. It costs $4000 for a two-bedroom setup. The dining room is clean and tidy. Overall, it's a good place.

"Ask Questions"

It's a nice place with friendly staff. We've had some money issues here and there. Make sure to ask about costs and get it written down. Also, ask about pet fees, payment deadlines, and Medicaid qualifications. Overall, we're happy with the care for our loved one and would recommend it.

"Great Facility with Wonderful Staff! Affordable for One Year."

This place is really nice. The people who work here are awesome. You pay by yourself for a whole year. It's $3737 every month for a one-bedroom apartment.

"Concerned about fall risk for elderly residents; otherwise, satisfactory experience."

This place was pretty nice, but they didn't want to let my mom in because they said she might fall. Like, come on, what old person isn't at risk of falling?
