"Care center promises high but delivers low, not worth it"
This place started off okay, but then everything went downhill! They only have a few nurses and two staff members who genuinely care. The top nurse and her assistant are so self-absorbed that it's just gross! They promise you one thing and then do the exact opposite. Your hard-earned money, or your loved one's, is completely wasted on this place each month. It's a total scam!! Don't bother with this place at all. And oh, the director of this facility... just totally spineless! That's the best I can describe it. Please don't let yourself or your loved ones go through this!!

"Misleading Services at Assisted Living Home – Not Recommended"
The place looks nice, but it's best for individuals who can take care of themselves. They aren't honest about the kind of services they provide to their residents. They advertise that they provide level 1-5 care, but my mom entered at level 1 and didn't receive the care she deserved. They never returned our calls. Once, my mom had to call me herself to tell me she had fallen, and after her hospital stay, they wouldn't accept her back. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to others.

"Needs improvement in activities and organization."
This place feels more like a nursing home than assisted living. Residents don’t have many activities. Office staff are friendly but could be more organized, and floor staff are friendly too.

"Respectful and Pleasant Staff at Assisted Living"
My father-in-law stayed there for just a few weeks, sadly. During his time there, he and our family were always treated with kindness by the really nice staff.

"Dismal Setting, Not Fit for Dad"
The minute I stepped foot in this place, I felt totally bummed out. It hit me straight away that my Dad would hate it here. He's a pretty lively guy, full of energy, but this spot just seemed dark and dreary. Even as we approached the facility, there was this lady sitting outside with her walker looking really down. The girl who showed us around was nice and all, but it just wasn't the right fit for us. It just didn't seem like a place my Dad should live.

"Not a good fit"
The Waterford at Roxbury Park doesn't meet my wife's care needs. Sometimes, they don't respond quickly when she needs help. I couldn't bring in my own nursing care due to liability concerns. It seems like their focus is on profit rather than quality care. The community is nice, and the staff members are friendly. The chef prepares excellent meals. However, I'm exploring other communities for my wife's care.

" Uncaring Staff and Neglected Residents at Assisted Living Facility. "
The people running this place don't care, and the staff are cruel to the vulnerable residents. Some residents just sit in front of the fireplace all day, slumped in their chairs. My mom got lost during her first few days. She was wandering the wrong floor, on the wrong side of the building, after leaving the dining room, and no one helped her. I ended up finding her. It was clear she felt scared and lost, but nobody noticed. The director told me that families aren't included in the plan of care.

"Clean and friendly assisted living with good location, minor issues"
The assisted living facility is really clean. The people who work there are super nice. The food isn't bad at all, we didn't really have any big problems with it. At first, things were a little tough, but that might have just been because of our situation. We picked this place partly because it's in a good spot, and we liked that.

"Clean, friendly staff, food's okay; rough start, good location."
This place is really tidy. The people who work here are super nice. The food isn't really bad. At first, things were a bit rocky, but maybe it was just because of our situation. We picked this place partly because of where it is.

"Pricey tour, good but too costly for consideration."
The tour was really good, but right now, the prices are too high for us to think about it.

"Decent Care, Room for Improvement in Activities and Cooking"
The care is good. Mom is adjusting, but activities aren't challenging. At book hour, they read Rapunzel; Mom prefers more stimulating reads. We chose this place for extended care. If money runs out, Medicaid covers it, ensuring continuous care. Food quality is good, but cooking could improve. Mom, a good cook herself, finds it disappointing.

"Varied Care Options with Room for Improvement in Activities and Food"
The care is good. Mom's getting used to it. They do activities, but they're not her speed. At book hour, they read Rapunzel, which isn't her cup of tea. Mom prefers more challenging reads. We picked them for the long-term care. If money runs out, Medicaid covers it. Food needs a boost. Mom says it's good quality but poorly cooked. She's disappointed.

"Good Care, Needs Clearer Communication"
This place is pretty good, but I have a few concerns. As someone new here, I'm not sure how to ask the staff questions. I don't want to interrupt the head nurse or other nurses just to ask things. It would be helpful if there was a clear way to do this. Even though they're nice when I ask, having better communication on how to ask would be great. I used to take care of her all the time, and it's hard to let go and trust them to do it. I'm not sure when I should step in or just let them handle everything. It would be really helpful to have a meeting to check in and make sure we're all on the same page. She's been doing amazing here. We thought there might be problems, but there haven't been any. The staff are taking really good care of her.

"No problems, just unsure who to ask"
They're really good, I guess. But I have a couple of issues. As a new person, I don't know how to ask questions. I hate bothering the head nurse or the nurses. Maybe they need a better procedure for that. When I stop somebody and ask, they make me feel comfortable, but communication about asking questions could be clearer. I was her primary caregiver, and it's hard to let go and let them take care of her. I'm not sure when to get more involved or just let them take control. A follow-up meeting would be nice. She's doing excellent, though. No problems, just don't know who to go to with questions.

"Lacking in care variety"
The assisted living facility claims to offer "9 levels of care," but my experience fell short of expectations. While the staff was generally friendly, they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. The amenities were basic, and there was limited variety in activities and services offered. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facility left much to be desired. Overall, while it wasn't terrible, I expected more from a place boasting 9 levels of care.

"Mixed Feelings: Loved the place, unsure about Dad's independence."
My experience at the assisted living facility was pretty good. I really liked it there. But I'm not sure if it's the best fit for my dad because he's so used to doing things on his own.
