"Careless Facility Abandons Client, Messes Up Medication Steps"
Really let down by this facility. They promised to care for my client but within a few days of moving there, they said they couldn't manage her needs unless she also had round-the-clock care from an external source. I discovered they weren't properly administering her medications and even rejected to provide some. They also forgot to process essential paperwork to secure some of her medications. They tried to get her committed to [Removed] because they didn't want her there and when we declared she wouldn't commit, they stopped her from coming back. Essentially, they abandoned her. The staff is also unreachable, no one is to be found and it generally takes over thirty minutes for them to respond to calls. Hence, I advise against choosing this place.

"Great Community with Good Food and Helpful Staff"
My mom lives at The Windcrest on Van Dorn and loves it. I’ve eaten there too, and the food is great. The dining staff is well-organized, with a special dining area for family visits. They offer a lot of food choices and have a regular and special menu. The place seems well-staffed, and I haven’t noticed any issues. Residents wear safety pendants, and calls are answered quickly. They go on outings, but there’s only space for one wheelchair user, which fills up fast. Overall, I’m very impressed with this community and its staff!

"So Far, So Good"
My aunt doesn't join any activities, but I think they're good. She's doing well, but still hopes to go home. So far, it's been great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they keep me informed. It's a bit pricier than expected.
