All American Assisted Living at Londonderry

"Clean, active, communication issues, care concerns"
The place is very clean with plenty of activities. There's a disconnect between the staff and families. The quality of care can be a concern. My loved one is supposed to get showers twice a week, but that wasn't happening. We've left two messages asking for a call back and haven't received one yet.

"Assisted Living Facility Experience: Mixed Results, Troublesome Bed Bugs"
My dad and stepmom needed more help. They lived in their condo for 20 years, then went to independent living for one year. The furniture they brought to the assisted living place was mostly new from independent living, except for a few things from the condo. They never had any problems before. But a month after they moved to this new place, they got bed bugs. They were told they brought them in, which they didn't. They had to stay in their room while people sprayed it and took away their clothes. It was a terrible three months. When their clothes finally came back from the laundry, some of them didn't even belong to them. They had to buy new clothes because theirs never showed up. The family couldn't wash their clothes, only the staff could. Some items even had my dad's initials on them, but they were still missing. The underwear they got back was for a young girl, not for my dad. The only good thing was that the food was better than what they had in independent living. But the extra charges for special needs were way too high, and they didn't get any special care. They moved everything from assisted living back to independent living. There were no bed bugs there, just in their room at the assisted living place.

"Not ideal for us."
Our family visited in person, tour was okay. They suggested dual living, but we disagreed.

"Mixed experiences at assisted living facility; proceed cautiously."
Be careful when considering this place. When my family member got here, they were quickly moved to a different area. Sometimes, the people taking care of them forgot to give them their hearing aids. Whenever we visited, my family member was wearing clothes that belonged to other residents. It seemed like the staff wasn't doing a good job of looking after them. But there were some positives about the place too.

""Nice facility, but understaffed and poorly managed""
Nurses and care aides were really nice and supportive when they were around. They took awesome care of my mom. However, the people in charge don't seem to be doing a good job. They care more about money than making sure there are enough staff members to help out. This is sad because the place is really nice, but they just can't meet the needs of every resident they've got living there.

"Amazing Care and Clean Facilities"
This place is awesome for a loved one. My brother-in-law has been here for almost a year, and I have no complaints. Every time I visit, the staff is super helpful, and the place is really clean. They have lots of activities for the residents, and the staff gets to know everyone personally. It’s great to have a nurse on duty all the time. It makes me feel better knowing they will call right away if anything happens. I would recommend this place to anyone.

"Great place with caring staff and a well-kept environment"
My father is doing well in this community. I’m happy with his move here, and he seems to be doing great. The place is really nice and well-maintained. The staff is caring and always ready to help. Overall, our experience here has been positive.
