This place felt a bit tinier compared to others I’ve seen. If my mom moved here, she’d be on a waiting list. They couldn’t show us a sample apartment, so we saw one someone lives in. I noticed there weren’t a lot of people hanging out together.

I think my mom is well taken care of here. The staff is nice, but they need more qualified people. Unfortunately, my loved one in the memory care unit doesn't join activities. Some staff members respond quickly, while others don't.

"A Positive Experience at Bedford Falls Assisted Living"
From what I've seen, everything's been great here. The place is super clean. The people who work here are really nice. My loved one says she likes the food. When I ask if she wants me to bring her something to eat, she always says no. I'm not sure about the quality of care, but I can tell my loved one is doing much better, and I think she should stay here. I haven't been to any of the activities, but she did say she had a really good time with one performer.

Some staff are great, others less so. Building's clean, but housekeeping could improve. Meals are good, activities could cater more to men and vary beyond cards. Costs should reflect better value; feels too costly for what's offered, like nickel-and-diming.

"A Small-Scale Home for Seniors"
We picked them because they’re close to family. It’s a smaller place, which we liked. They helped us a lot during the pandemic, letting us move Mom in and helping two of us set up her apartment. Bedford Falls has lots of outdoor spaces, which Mom enjoys. We’ve had questions and concerns, but they always respond when we call, so communication’s good. Mom says the food isn’t great quality. Overall, we’d recommend them to others who are searching.

"Wonderful care and a very welcoming community!"
Mom is thriving here. I'm really impressed with the care. Residents are treated kindly, and caregivers are very accommodating. The staff is always welcoming, smiling, and seems to really enjoy their job. They quickly respond to our questions and ask if they can help with anything. They encourage mom to join in daily activities. The food is excellent, the community is very clean, and I would recommend it. This place is very special!

I couldn't decide between this place and another one. Bedford Falls is a great community. It's really clean and the staff is super nice. The tour guide knew a lot and answered all my questions. In the end, I chose the place that was closer to my home.

I think Bedford Falls is pretty good. The place is clean and the staff are nice. But they could pay more attention to what residents need. For example, our family member asked to have his ears checked two weeks ago, but nobody has arranged it yet.

This was an excellent choice for a place my mom could live and be well cared for. My mother is very happy to have a friendly staff who are like friends when needed. The area around the community is very nice and safe, with lots of amenities. She absolutely loves it there.

"Inadequate Care at Bedford Falls Assistance Living"
My family member is currently staying at the Bedford Falls harbor unit, and sadly, the care given lacks adequately. I've visited the place, only to find her in deplorable states. My talks with the director, area director, various managers, and nurses, who seem to frequently change at Benchmark, haven't improved the situation. The turnover of licensed nursing assistants and activity directors is also high. The facility appears good on the outside, but the level of care lags, to put it politely. I plan to move my family member out as I worry for her safety. Despite a professional from their head office trying to improve things, no positive changes have happened yet. I advise visiting the place multiple times before settling for it. I hope you can find qualified and compassionate care for your loved ones. If you decide on Bedford Falls, be vigilant about the safety and well-being of your family member.

"Watch Out! Neglect and Unhygienic Practices Observed!"
Spent a ton of time observing elderly residents here. It really doesn't seem like the level of care is acceptable! I saw an elderly individual wandering around in damp pants for four solid hours! She even sat in multiple chairs and guess what, they weren't cleaned. In spite of reporting this, nothing was done! Moreover, the dining tables were grossly unclean after meals. I even witnessed someone performing a blood test without any gloves on! Can you believe they aren't cleaning up bodily fluids properly from the chairs? It's truly distasteful! You must keep an eye on your loved ones, I second that from the previous review!

"Warning: Facility lacks reliable staff and adequate care"
Don't be tricked by the looks. Yes, the building is shiny and new, but the care given by the staff doesn't match up. In the last two years, the number of staff changes has been constant. We've seen about 4 different directors in charge. My relative isn't receiving the care they deserve. I can't provide specifics due to privacy concerns, but keep a close eye on your family member if you choose this spot.

"Concerns and Praise at Bedford Falls Assisted Living"
Bedford Falls is a lovely place, and the staff is kind. They really know the residents well and are ready to assist. But, we wish the evaluation process was better. Mom needed more care than they initially thought. Now she's in a new area for memory care. We trust the staff but worry about the cost and Mom's well-being. It's hard for her, but we hope she adjusts.
