The assisted living facilities were quite pleasant.

"Poor Care and Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
Honestly, I can't suggest anyone to place their parent in this assisted living facility. They completely failed to look after my dad properly. The cleanliness standard was shockingly low. They let him stay in the same clothes continually, even lost some of his clothes. It was bad enough looking at his dirty nails, but even his room was not cleaned properly. The method of therapy offered wasn't helpful at all. They over-medicated my father, modifying and adding to his medication over ten times. And all this happened without my consent from December to March. To say it plainly, their negligence resulted in my father's demise. When I challenged the administrators over this low standard of care, they either evaded me or just tried to cover up their lapses.

"Inadequate Care Leads to Health Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
I strongly advise against this place. My dad was moved here from the hospital. Initially, he was okay. About a week into his stay at this center, his health took a turn for the worse. He got c-diff, a highly infectious disease, followed by a cold that developed into pneumonia. We discovered about the pneumonia only when we insisted on him going back to the hospital. The care provided there is pretty poor.

"Needs Improvements, No Walk-In Showers"
The place looked old and needed some fixing up. Unfortunately, they couldn't show us any units with walk-in showers, so it wouldn't work for our mom.

" "Quick Decline at Rehab Due to Poor Care and Negligence""
They sent my father to a doctor's visit and couldn't even give the driver the right address. They had him in a sketchy wheelchair that wasn't safe. Not to mention, they forgot to give him any of his important paperwork for the appointment! The doctor was so upset with how much worse he got in just five days at rehab, he demanded they don't bring him back. And even his current doctors think this place failed him. They suspect his medication wasn't given out right, he wasn't getting enough water, and the physiotherapy was subpar. On top of that, they didn't keep good records of his treatment and care.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facilities"
My experience so far has been just okay. My parent is in the memory care unit, but I often notice that they aren't kept clean. I have to keep asking why this is happening. Clothes and shoes go missing and are never found. My parents have only been at Clipper for two months, and I've already applied for care at a different facility. On the other hand, my other parent is at assisted living Langdon Place in the same location, and I find their care to be satisfactory. The residents there can do many things for themselves.

"Costly with Fewer Amenities"
It costs more than Kittery Estates but has fewer amenities. I don’t need medical care right now.
