"Not the right fit."
Our family visited Forestview Manor Assisted Living in person. They gave a good tour and answered our questions, but it wasn't the best fit for our loved one.

"Needs More Staff Interaction with Residents"
The facility was really neat and welcoming, but I noticed that the staff weren’t really spending time with the people living there. This worried me a lot because my mom has dementia and it’s important for her to have people to talk to and do things with.

"Great Care and Peaceful Living at Forestview Manor"
Our mom moved to Forestview Manor a year ago. She’s well cared for in the memory unit. The place is clean and bright, and the staff are great. Communication with the care and medical team is excellent. We’re thankful that our mom is having a peaceful and happy life at Forestview Manor.

"Forestview Manor Exceeds All Expectations"
My mom has been at Forestview Manor for 2.5 years. She’s lived in all three Manors, which are more like cozy homes than big buildings. Each Manor is designed to meet the changing needs of residents with dementia. My mom calls her room a "penthouse" and thinks she’s living in luxury. The staff at Forestview has done an amazing job decorating her room to make her feel at home, with lots of personal touches. Everyone at Forestview Manor has been wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best assisted living care. We visited many places within 60 miles, and none compared to Forestview Manor.

"Warm Reception, Dated Facilities: Mixed Experience in Assisted Living"
My dad, brother, and I got a friendly welcome from [name removed]. The staff was nice and chatty. We ate sausage rolls, potatoes, and summer squash, with chocolate ice cream for dessert. The place looks old, with small rooms and closets. The assisted living part has been changed over the years, with lots of hallways. There are separate buildings for low, mid, and high levels. They had a $500 discount for May.

"Good Care and Activities, Layout Challenging for Spatial Memory Issues"
This place gives good personal care and lots of activities. The only problem for us is how the building is set up because our family member has trouble remembering spaces.

"Grateful for Forest View's Care and Support"
One of the first things I check when touring assisted living places is how clean they are and if there are any bad smells. This includes the staff and residents. Forest View is very clean, and the people living there always look well taken care of. While the cost can be surprising, Forest View is half the price of other places. The staff has been incredibly helpful and gives daily updates to make the process easier for families. The nurses even met my parents before they moved in and came to pick them and their things up to reduce stress. This was very helpful. Thanks to everyone at Forest View for your care and support.

"Fee Higher at Declining, Messy Forestview Manor!"
After going around Forestview Manor, I felt kinda disappointed. The place, to say honestly, has been getting worse and it's not tidy enough. I could see cats hanging out on the residents' beds. On top of that, they charge a bit more than the nicer place we ended up picking.

"Value for Money and Friendly Staff, but Food Concerns"
This place does a great job considering what you pay. The staff is friendly, including the administration, although they don't approach residents as much. The activities director is awesome with lots of music and movies. The food is okay, but I worry about how it's served. They might not have enough staff to feed residents one-on-one, leaving some standing and less engaged. Still, we picked it because it suits our loved one's needs, and it's conveniently located. Overall, we're satisfied with the care provided.
