"Assisted Living Delights: Mom Thrives, Staff Support Outstanding"
My Mom enjoys activities at Greystone Farm at Salem. She's participated more than I expected. The staff is kind to her. They've supported her through diabetes and dental issues. Meals are well planned and tasty; the Bistro option is great. Mom loves the food! Moving in was easy with help from [name removed]. I highly recommend this facility.

"Mixed Feelings: Community Enjoyed, Ambiance Clinical"
Our family visited the place in person, and we liked the community atmosphere, but to us, it felt too much like a hospital.

"Ideal for medical needs, diverse activity options"
For higher medical needs, this is the ideal choice. Great activities.

"Friendly Staff and Great Meals, with Encouraging Activities"
The people who work here are really nice, and even though there aren't enough of them like in other places, they still manage to keep everything clean. The food and how they serve it is really good; the meals taste great. They have a lot of things to do, and if you join in, the staff do a really good job of cheering you on.

"Supportive Staff, Attentive Care, Overpriced but Good"
I really like the staff. They are very supportive. The director is super friendly and easy to talk to. Everyone seems to care a lot about the residents, which is great. We haven't had many problems. We did have some trouble with his medications at first, but that got fixed. The food is okay, but sometimes he doesn't like how it's cooked. It can be dry and overcooked. But everyone is very attentive, and they really seem to care about the people who live there. I think all assisted living places are too expensive, but they do a good job here.

"Salem Assisted Living Facility: Poor Communication, Outrageous Costs"
This Salem assisted living center is a total disappointment as of October 2020. For 3 or 4 days there has been zero phone contact. My wife is particularly frustrated due to not being able to speak to her mom. In spite of the large amount of money we pay to your center, you can't keep a reliable phone system. In the modern era we live in, there's simply no excuse for this. It's baffling how your system is so messed up that we can't get in touch with anyone, and if we leave messages, nobody bothers to return our calls. Please get your affairs in order. What kind of operation are you managing?

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience with Limited Activities and Cleanliness Issues"
The lack of things to do and small rooms make it hard for active people. There's no gym, pool, or movie theater like bigger places. Other daily activities aren't enough to make up for it. They hardly offer transportation, and the van isn't great. The rooms feel cramped and aren't cleaned well. There's so much dust! You'll need to clean your loved one's apartment yourself. The dining and kitchen staff are great, and the food is better than at bigger places. The nursing staff can be caring but inconsistent. Just remember, they're a big company focused on making money. If I had the choice, I'd pick a nonprofit community.
