"Caring Staff, But Organization Lacks Clarity"
The person in charge of taking care of the residents means well but often seems to be juggling too many things at once. It’s hard to tell if our loved ones are really getting the attention we’re paying for. The place isn’t shabby, but it’s not exactly stylish either. You can’t find out what’s for dinner until it’s almost time to eat because they only put the menu up in the hallway at the last minute. It’s tough to know if the food is good for you or if there’s enough variety. The main reason we chose this place is that it’s close to where we live.

"Caring Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
My mom lived at Ledgewood Bay, and she had a great experience. The staff communicated well with our family, especially the Executive Director, who was friendly and understanding when my mom passed away. I do wish they offered more care options for non-ambulatory seniors, like my dad. Despite that, he's still a happy resident there. I'd recommend this place to others.

"Good location and staff, but food and facilities could improve"
We chose this place because of where it's located. The staff are nice, but the building and meals are just okay. The food is especially not great, which is a letdown considering the price. I might suggest it to others, but with some reservations.

"Friendly Staff, Mixed Coverage"
Some issues with medical coverage (contracted and not great at providing regular updates). Sometimes understaffed. The everyday staff is friendly, caring, and open to communication.

"Short-Staffed Assisted Living Falls Short"
We didn't like the place because there's only one caregiver for many residents. Not good for my loved one.

"Safe and Pleasant Experience with Accommodating Staff"
When we first arrived, they did an assessment. Shortly after my loved one moved in, they raised the cost. Things have settled now. We felt safe having my loved one here, and my mom felt safe too. We were moving my mom to memory care, and the staff were very accommodating. Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience for us.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The communication was tough at times. Make sure to know your medication options. The food wasn't great and was often cold. I wouldn't recommend this community to others. Compared to other places we've been, the value is below average.

"Prompt attention lacking, decent staff, consider medical care."
Mom passed away soon. Friendly staff. Remember medical needs. Delayed paperwork.

"Clean and Welcoming Community with Great Amenities"
I had a good experience touring this place for my loved one. The staff were punctual and helpful, answering all our questions. The place was neat, and they had many nice things for the residents. The layout was easy to get around, but it wasn't the right fit for us.

"Great Care and Support"
The staff here were very kind to my mom. She had a hard time adjusting to the new place. The community was very nice and well-maintained. Everyone did their best for my mom and we appreciate that.

"Ledgewood Bay"
My husband's been here for 4 years and he's content. I like that the family is part of his care. The van is handy. Staff and residents treat each other respectfully. Only wish employee turnover was less.

"A Pleasant Visit"
Ledgewood Bay was a pleasant community to visit. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Although we didn't move my mother here due to our out-of-state move, the complex was still very nice.

"Four-Star Communication and Responsiveness"
I believe they could improve communication about moving in, expectations, and medications. But they’ve been great at returning my calls when I have questions.

"A Great Place with Caring Staff"
Ledgewood Bay is a nice place in a pretty area. The staff are friendly and pay attention to everyone. It's close to medical help, which is great. My dad is getting used to it and likes it. His room is bright and nice. He is not very strong, and they call us if the nurses are worried about something. They have physical and occupational therapy right there, which is really helpful for us.

"Great staff and care; Dad is happy and well-supported"
The staff has been fantastic since my first call. They helped me find a great place for my dad and have worked closely with me to make sure he gets the medical care he needs. They also ensure he has lots of activities and support to help him settle in. The management is very good, and the nurses are attentive. The activities director truly cares. Plus, the food is fresh.

"Active Community with Social Circle"
We should have done it sooner. The friendly staff in the memory care unit made a big difference. The rest of the facility was bustling with activities, and residents enjoyed each other's company. Honestly, I don't understand why some people insist on living alone to feel independent. Here, they're active, social, and living life their way.

"Welcoming and Comfortable Assisted Living Facility with Memory Units"
Nice and tidy. Everyone, staff and residents, looked happy. There are different choices for older folks, even two units for memory care. They made our family member feel really comfortable when we visited. We decided this was the right place.

"Great place with friendly staff and Medicaid options"
They have Medicaid beds, so she could get on the list next year, which is very important to us. In New Hampshire, they handle medications for families, so I don't need to store them myself. The nursing staff contacts her doctors directly if they have any questions or concerns. We looked at another place, but Medicaid acceptance was a deciding factor. We really like the layout, friendly staff, nice dining area, and great food here. The residents we spoke to were happy. My mom could keep some independence and her cats, which was a big plus. They also offer transportation, plenty of activities, and help whenever she needs it.

"Staff helpful, but parent separation policy concerning."
The staff member who gave us the tour was really nice and helpful. However, there was one thing that bothered me a lot. They said they might separate my parents if they move in. That made me feel uneasy.

The rooms and facilities were pleasant, tidy, and well taken care of. However, the pricing might be a bit high, depending on how much the veteran program covers.

"Lovely nursing home/assisted living"
set on a quiet hilltop. Antiseptic smell upon entry, but delightful staff. Light and graceful hallways, though rooms (except for 2-br) are small. High prices, but great values like GPS, memory center, and medicine services. Facility bus available, and a men's club for the 15% male population. Food untested.

"Decent but Pricey Option"
We went for lunch during a tour. The place seemed nice, and the people were friendly. But, wow, the price was way up there! They start at $5600, and there's an extra $4K for community fees. It's just too expensive for what they offer.
