"Assisted Living Facility Review: Pine Rock Memory Care Excellence"

Had to find a place for my husband with severe Alzheimer's quickly. There were no closer options near our home and few had secure memory care. Luckily, Pine Rock had an opening. I've been pleased with his care. The staff is respectful, kind, and always smiling. He can be challenging, which made it unsafe to care for him at home after eight years alone. Outside caregivers wouldn't come to our rural area, leaving me to manage all care alone without respite. He doesn't recognize me, but I know he's safe and well cared for. Pine Rock strives to meet his needs as best as possible.

"Older Assisted Living Facility Has Gloomy Atmosphere"

I didn't really like Pine Rock Manor. The place looked old and needed some fixing up. The whole vibe felt gloomy.

"Secretive Assisted Living Facility Disappoints Visitors"

After going to visit a patient three times, by appointment, I'm still disappointed with this place. We've only seen the visiting room, which is very dirty. I get that there are Covid restrictions, but everything feels too secretive. When we asked if we could visit the courtyard, a staff member replied, 'I don't know how to get you there!' Does she not know where it is, or is it not accessible for patients? My sister can walk, so what's the harm in visiting her room or the activities area?

"Pinerock Offers Great Care and Peace of Mind for Families"

Pinerock has been the perfect place for my very sweet but sometimes very violent husband. They’ve made it possible for me to start enjoying life again without constantly worrying about him. The staff is very friendly and caring, and he clearly loves them. As one aide said today, She is my friend. Pinerock is an excellent choice for those with severe dementia and for the peace of mind of their families.

"Caring Staff and Clean Facilities at Pine Rock Manor"

I chose Pine Rock Manor for my husband because I couldn’t take care of him at home. He was in a wheelchair after a fall and never got his strength back in rehab. I needed a place where he would be well taken care of. The staff here is the best I’ve ever seen. This isn’t my first time dealing with care facilities since my father needed care about 15 years ago. Back then, the staff wasn’t friendly to patients or their families. At Pine Rock Manor, it’s the opposite. The staff is very caring and friendly. They always ask if visitors need anything and take great care of the patients. I remember seeing a staff member walking around, telling another about the patients, their names, birth dates, where they were born, where they lived, their jobs before retirement, and their interests. This helps create a friendly community for everyone living there. The place is very clean, and they provide excellent meals. Medications are given as needed, and they keep patients involved in various activities. If I ever need such a place, I hope my children remember how much we liked the attention and care my husband and their father received.

"Good location, but facility lacks light, accessibility, and cleanliness."

Nice town, but facility had dark halls, small windows, wheelchair damage.

"Discontent With Pine Rock's Care and Cleanliness"

Pine Rock completely disappointed me. I didn't think they took good care of my mother-in-law, like they should have. Whenever an issue cropped up, and I tried addressing it with the staff, I only ended up feeling unwelcome. Worse still, they left her bed unclean for several days.

"Terrible Care, Staff Shortages, and Uncontrolled Violence"

My mom first moved into this facility with tons of excitement. They promised a lot of fun activities and individual care. She lived there for around a year. The entire time, contacting her doctor was impossible. She suffered from unattended bedsores for a long period. They were always short on staff. Worse, my mom was attacked by another resident who, according to the staff, couldn't be controlled.

"Older Building, Good Staff, Care Could Improve"

I really like how the business works to keep the old buildings around and finds new uses for them. But, I’m not sure if they’re the best choice for taking care of our older folks. The place I visited seemed pretty old and tired-looking. The people working there were nice, though—they were super friendly and knew their stuff. The one thing that bugged me was how they split up the care. They had separate spots for people who needed different kinds of help.

"In an Older Building, Transformed"

I like that the business tries to use older buildings creatively, but sometimes using them for senior care might not be the best choice. This location looked old and worn. The staff was friendly and informative, but I didn't like how they separated the care into different areas.

"My Dad Is Thriving"

My dad has serious memory problems, and the staff in the memory care unit take great care of him. They make sure his meals are right, his room stays clean, and he gets the care he needs every day. I'd definitely recommend this place.

"A Caring Community for Mom"

My mom is still getting used to this place, but things are going okay. I'm happy with everything they've done for us. We feel like she's safe and being taken care of here. They are giving her good care. The staff pays attention and knows what's happening and where everyone is. Everyone has been nice and friendly. Overall, I would suggest this community to others.
