"Attractive Facade, Dreadful Care: Don't Fall for This Facility "
Do not entrust your loved ones to this facility. This place is seriously lacking staff. They didn't provide the extra care level we were paying for. Dealing with them was like an ongoing struggle; they were negligent with my mom's care and she ended up in the hospital. Once, an aide didn't even know what a DNR was. She told me, "Oh, your mom has a DNR". I had to explain that a DNR only applies during a heart attack and they need to call 911 if it's a stroke. We moved my mom out due to their lack of skill and appropriate staff, and their failure to deliver proper care. Despite its appearance, this facility is deceiving. It's pretty, clean, cozy, and intimate. Its attractive look made us pick this place. But once my mom was there, that's when multiple issues began surfacing. We were told, "We can’t do this, we need to increase her care level". So we upgraded and paid more, but they still weren't delivering. Even the doctor's care level orders weren't adhered to.

"Friendly Staff, Smaller Community"
I visited The Residence at Cherry Hill, and it was nice. The staff were friendly, but the smaller community didn’t quite fit what I was looking for.

"Staff makes residents feel at home; good room sizes. Recommended."
The staff at this place is really great. They make the residents feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are a good size; my loved one doesn't need a lot of space, so it's perfect for him. I would definitely suggest The Residence at Cherry Hill to others who are looking.

"Memory Care Needs Improvement"
My dad needed more reminders but they only had 2 care levels. They put him in memory care, but it wasn't right for him. People often wandered into his room, and the staff didn't listen to his needs. Some of his stuff went missing but was found later. The assisted living part was good, but this is about memory care.

"Family-friendly assisted living, clean facility, caring staff, supportive services."
We liked the facility. It's very clean. My mom made friends there, and the staff is nice. They even called to check on her after we moved out. They worked well with her doctor and the in-house therapy. We would return if needed.

"Affordable Assisted Living with Shared Apartments"
This assisted living facility requires a two-year private payment. You'll share a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with another resident once you're on Medicaid. The monthly cost is $3,880, and there's a $3,000 entry fee.

"Great place for Mom: Transparent, clean, good food, convenient location."
This place is really clear about what they're doing and their rules, which I like. Mom enjoys it here; it's tidy. They wash clothes once a week. The food's tasty, and she's joining in activities every day. It's near my place, and she adores her cozy one-bedroom spot. Depending on how much help you need, I'd suggest this place.

"Impressive tour, delicious pie, considering stay."
The tour was really good. The person who showed us around was nice and told us a lot about the place. Plus, they gave us a really yummy pie made by the chef. We're still thinking about whether we want to stay there.

"Nice tour but not right for Mom."
We went to check out this place for my mom, and it was pretty nice. The staff showed up on time for our appointment and told us a lot about their place. People living there looked like they were having fun doing stuff around the place. But, in the end, we decided it wasn't the best fit for my mom.

"Cozy Assisted Living with Awesome Staff!"
Everything's great so far! We brought Mom here in early November. The place is clean, cozy, and decked out with cheerful holiday decorations. Her apartment has everything she needs, including good storage. The staff are awesome—friendly, caring, and always ready to help. Mom says the food is okay, and she's happy in her new home!

"Feels like home, but food needs improvement"
The staff is great, and my loved one really feels at home. They enjoy the activities a lot. The only thing they don't like is the food. There's not enough of it, and the variety could be better. The community is always clean and neat.

"Clean, Caring, and Welcoming Environment"
I'm really happy with this place and what they've done for us. My mom is doing pretty good here. It looks nice and they do a good job of keeping everything clean. The people who work here are nice, but my only worry is that there aren't many staff around at night. We're talking to the boss to fix that. Mom's trying out some of the things they do here. She likes the food. Overall, everything is going well and I think this place is good.

"Positive Review of Happy Haven Assisted Living - Smalltown, USA"
I really liked the person I met. They were friendly, sincere, and down-to-earth. The place is in a good location and very clean. I only got to see one room, and I didn't meet many other staff members. It's not as fancy as some other places I've seen, but that's okay. The person I talked to seemed to understand my mom's medical and physical needs better than others I've spoken to. I'm hopeful they can provide the care she needs. I had an evaluation with their staff today. She was really nice and helpful. They suggested my mom might need an aide from Always There with her. I'm waiting to find out the cost without the aide.

"Decent Care Undermined by Staffing Issues and Poor Management"
The care provided was decent for an assisted living facility, but they had some issues with their staff. Employees were quitting and they were struggling with maintaining enough workforce, leaving them understaffed. The cook quit, and for a long time they were pretending everything was okay, but the quality of the food went downhill. They had assigned seating, and weren't willing to step in when a resident was causing problems. There were some folks who were close to needing to be moved to the memory care unit causing disturbances during meals, creating a negative social atmosphere. The management wasn't performing well, and they didn't have enough staff to manage properly.

"Mixed Feelings About Pricing, Great Staff at Assisted Living"
This place was really nice. Debi, who showed us around, was super friendly and told us a lot of useful stuff. I went on the tour with a friend whose husband has Alzheimer's. The way they set their prices makes me a little worried. Seems like they could raise them unexpectedly. I might check it out again later.

"Good overall but food needs improvement. Friendly staff and clean."
This place is pretty good! It looks nice, always clean, and the helpers are nice and act professional. Some folks say the food could be better. There aren't many choices, especially for people with diabetes.

"Disappointed Service Experience"
The caregivers are usually good, but waiting for a call can take up to an hour, which is frustrating. I feel let down by their service. In the memory care area, all activities stop at three pm, and residents just sit and watch TV. As for the administration, it seems like they're not on the same page.

"Less Expensive, But Falls Require 24-7 Care"
The assisted living facility costs less, but my relative kept falling and required round-the-clock care. The nurse is on the second floor, and the place is clean and friendly. Unfortunately, they couldn't meet our needs, and paying for extra care was too expensive.

"Nice, but not exactly what Dad wanted."
This place looked nice, with a new building and friendly vibes. The staff was good too. But it was smaller than what Dad had in mind, so we went with another community. Still, it was our second choice.

"We enjoyed visiting with Debbie!"
We had a good time visiting with Debbie Petrone. However, the smell was a bit off-putting. Among our New Jersey visits, this ranked second mainly because of its connection to Philly. We needed to adjust our visit, and Debbie was very helpful. She also recommended an Emeritus location in Maryland.

"Comfortable and Welcoming Assisted Living Facility"
I really liked the place. It's for old folks who need some help but not for those with memory problems. They have a special part for people with Alzheimer's or dementia. My daughter thought it was easy to get to, tidy, and friendly. It costs about the same as other places, and it covers everything except medicines.
