"Boss Unkind, Few Activities, Mom Denied Ensure."
I liked the regular workers, a lot. But the boss of the place was meant to finish off. My sister and I were broken. There weren't many ideas for things to do. They wouldn't even let my mom have Ensure.

"Atria: Caring Staff, Food Improvements Needed"
At Atria, caring and kind staff support residents. However, food choices need improvement—less specific—and activities could be more engaging.

"Friendly Staff, Good Location, Recommended for Families"
We chose this place because it's close to our family. The people who work here are really nice, and they make sure everyone's needs are taken care of. I think other families would like it too.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Clearer Services, Better Food, Reports"
The workers are nice, but it's hard to know what stuff they do. The food isn't yummy and needs more flavor. I wish they'd give reports every week or month on what they do for or with my parents. Ask residents how they feel about the food and make it better based on their opinions. There are some things they could do to make it better overall.

"Money not refunded after resident's death, no help from corporate"
The people working there took good care of my dad. Yet, when he passed away, they kept billing us for the next month and didn't give us our money back, despite trying to get help from their main office.

"Promising Start, But Lacked Attention and Encouragement"
We chose this place as it looked promising initially. However, they could have done a better job by pushing my family member to join more events. Their attention to detail was lacking. Both of us agreed that it didn't work out well.

"Great Activities and Friendly Staff, Location Was Too Far"
My mom didn't choose this place, but I wish she had. It's too far from our family and her house. I thought she'd like it here because there's so much to do. The place is super clean and well taken care of. The staff is really nice and friendly, and everyone seems happy.

"Beautiful facility with excellent tour guide!"
Atria was gorgeous. We didn’t choose it because they couldn’t provide the care my mother needs. The tour guide was excellent, and the facility was well kept. Overall, it was a good experience.

"Lovely Assisted Living with Kind Staff and Secure Environment"
I visited this place, and it was super nice! The building was beautiful, and inside felt really welcoming. The lady I talked to was really sweet, and as I left, they even gave me a yummy apple pie. The apartments were really nice too. I felt safe there, which is really important. And outside, the area looked really pretty.

"Inefficient Assessment of Mom at Atria Tinton Falls Assisted Living"
Atria Tinton Falls misjudged my mom's condition and needs. They spent ample time with her, so they should have realized she wasn't a suitable match for their service. It feels like I poured my time and finances into this place for no reason. I expected professionalism, which fell short. The speech therapist's evaluation during mom's visit seemed entirely off. It was as if they examined someone else. They stated my mom required her meals to be pureed, yet I know that's untrue. How could they decide she needed softened food within two weeks? Furthermore, we had three trips to the ER while at this facility. Considering the high cost, they were supposed to monitor her more intensely. I strongly advise against recommending them to anyone due to their severe misjudgment of my mom.

"Atria was a good choice overall."
Atria was a nice place. I would rate them highly. It just didn't turn out to be the best fit for us in the memory care unit. But it’s clean, and the staff is friendly.

"Great staff, clean environment, and excellent food!"
The Atria is great! It’s always clean, and the staff is amazing. They know everyone’s name and are really helpful, going beyond expectations with any request. The food is excellent, and dining is always in a clean, well-lit, friendly setting with linen on the tables instead of paper. We feel very comfortable here!

"Excellent Food and Staff at Atria Tinton Falls"
Atria Tinton Falls had awesome food choices on their menu. The manager and the team there were really great. We decided to move out only because they didn't offer independent living, just assisted care. Still, our time there was fantastic. I'd totally suggest Atria Tinton Falls to anyone who needs assisted living.

"Wonderful Care and Social Activities!"
Everything has been great, they are very good. We had some issues when we first arrived, but we have a lot of family to help out. They listened to our feedback, and now we are much happier. It takes time for them to get to know the new resident and the family. Their social activities are fantastic, with almost anything you can think of to do. People are in the common room, talking and doing things. She has become much more social since she has been there. The food is good. Even if a person is able-bodied and mostly independent, they still need to be checked on. I am thrilled with our decision. I love the look of the place, and I feel proud telling people where she is. They are fantastic!

"Charmingly Clean, But Impersonal Assisted Living Facility"
The place is spotlessly clean and the staff genuinely put in effort. Mostly, everyone exudes a friendly attitude. But they could do a better job with the number of helpers assigned to each group. In my mom's group, for instance, only two aides cater to 21 people. These aides also have to serve meals, though they don't exactly do the cooking. This happens at least where Life Guidance is concerned. The issue with this format is that there is always a new aide each time. They don't get the opportunity to form a bond with the person they're caring for. Straightforward answers are a rarity. While they ask all about my mom and what she likes, they ignore those preferences when planning activities. There was that one time when we had to search high and low for the laundry. Thankfully, we ended up finding it. Based on the friendly social worker's pitch, the assumption was families would get a call every week. Beyond the initial phase, though, no calls have come my way. They've got a really attractive garden, but you seldom see anyone using it.

"Seems to be working out"
I didn't visit this place myself, but I helped my sister and brother-in-law find it. They're doing great there. The staff I talked to were really nice and did a good job communicating with my brother-in-law, who was hesitant to move at first. My sister has positive things to say about the community. I got worried when I saw extra charges on their bill the first month. But when I asked about it, a nurse and the head of nursing quickly explained the extra care needed. I appreciated their fast response.

"Looked really nice!"
This was our second option when we checked out places for Mom. It looked nice, and the staff were super friendly. But we picked a different community because Mom wanted a more active place. Still, overall, it’s great!
