"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

The move-in process was simple. They offer a wide variety of food at every meal, and the kitchen staff is very helpful. The place is clean, but communication could be better. Residents can participate in daily activities. However, health services seem a bit lax.

"Friendly Staff and Good Communication, Some Food Preferences"

The staff here is really nice and helpful. I haven't tried the food myself, but my loved one says it's hit or miss. Sometimes she likes it, sometimes she doesn't. But there are other choices if you don't like the main dish. She really likes the lady who takes care of her room; she does a great job. They keep in touch well too. I get emails often with updates on what's happening there. I would tell my family and friends about this place because it's a good deal and it's in a good spot.

"Mom's Happy in Safe, Caring Community"

My mom's really happy since moving here. Everything's going well, and I'm happy too. They've taken good care of us. She's safe and in good hands.

"Welcoming Community with Engaging Activities and Spacious Areas"

I was really impressed with how nice all the staff were to my loved one and me during our tour of this place. I liked seeing all the residents busy with different activities and enjoying each other's company all around the building. The floor plan they showed us was great, and they had lots of room in the common areas for everyone. They even invited my mom and me to try one of their meals and eat with everyone.

"Great Facility for Memory Care but Not for Independence"

The place provides excellent care for folks with memory issues. I was caught off guard when I found out they have a special section for memory care. It's not a bad place at all and the staff are super nice and caring. They put in a lot of effort to take good care of the residents. I feel like I am out of place because this place is meant for people with memory issues, not folks who can look after themselves.

"Management Prioritizes Profit Over Resident Comfort in Assisted Living"

We found that the management appeared more concentrated on profit than resident wellbeing. The cost was substantially higher, particularly for medications. They excessively upcharged and were resistant about her self-administering medication. They put the responsibility on us, making it such a struggle that we felt compelled to pay them. There seemed to be hidden charges at every turn. She frequently expressed feeling rushed and uneasy; she felt as though she was in a prison instead of an assisted living facility. While she appreciated the facility's cleanliness, good upkeep and tasty food, she overall found living there uncomfortable.

"Clean and friendly assisted living with helpful staff"

Brighton Gardens of Florham Park is a nice place overall. It's clean and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. I really like the wellness center. The head nurse and nurse coordinator have been a big help. They're great at communicating with both my family and my loved one's doctors. However, I wish they offered transportation for doctor appointments.

"Nice place, overall"

I believe Brighton Gardens is a nice place overall. The facility and care they provide are good. Staff members take care of residents’ needs, and the place is clean. However, they could be more understanding of residents’ mental states. My loved one is sharp mentally but slow to respond, and some staff treat her as if she’s not fully present, which frustrates her.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Addressing Resident Concerns"

There were many issues in her apartment that weren't fixed. She was placed with people who weren't at her level mentally, which made her sad. Unfortunately, she's not happy there.

"Brighton Gardens didn't meet our expectations."

We were disappointed with Brighton Gardens. It didn't work out for us. Their nurse evaluated my loved one at the hospital. They said they could handle him with their highest level of care. But after moving him in, they said he wasn't suitable for their facility. We had to move him again. It seems like Brighton Gardens might be nice for those who need less care. But they need to be more careful when deciding what they can provide.

"Disappointed with Brighton Gardens Assisted Living's Aggressive Sales Tactics"

The salespeople were really pushy even though we told them the person with power of attorney was out of town. We liked the place and picked it for my grandma. But they said she could move in as an assisted living resident, then when she got there, they said she needed 24-hour private care on top of what they offer. That was a shock and a big extra cost we thought we wouldn't have to pay at Brighton Gardens.

"Terrace Club: A Welcoming Home for Seniors"

The Terrace Club is a nice place for seniors. It has things like assistance, wanderguard, and memory care. There are 10 residents who have fun with activities every day of the week. In total, there are 48 residents. They accept Medicaid after you pay privately. It's an older facility that's part of the Sunrise franchise. They go on weekly trips to places like the library and Walmart. The living room is 12 by 15 feet, and the bedroom is 10 by 10 feet.

"Great, Easy-to-Navigate Assisted Living"

I really liked this place. It was small enough to get around easily.
