"Affordable Assisted Living with Health-Focused Meals"
The place really cares about healthy food, but sometimes, it's not enough for our loved one. They grumble about portion sizes and taste. We've noticed activities happening, although our loved one isn't super social. There are activities in the living room near the dining area, with comfy couches and TVs. This community is cheaper compared to others nearby.

"Avoid This Facility: Staff Incompetence and Internal Issues Abound"
I've spoken with other families considering this place, and I've advised they steer clear. Unless your family member is fully dependent, this home isn't capable of caring for those with dementia. I warn people to avoid it. There're also internal problems. The director quit unexpectedly at the beginning of the year, and billing issues have been constant during our whole time here. Whenever I call, the person in charge seems to always be on vacation. Staff members seem to vanish or quit all the time. It's disorganized. When I sent a letter stating my family member wouldn't be coming back, I didn't get any response. Honestly, I'm shocked they're still operating. Only a couple of staff members are exceptional, the rest aren't up to par.

"Brighton Gardens: Cozy, convenient, and great food"
The staff is really nice, and it feels like home here. I toured many places, but Brighton Gardens is the best for us. The fireplace in the lobby is very inviting. The food is really good, and the new chef is great, which is important. The studio is cozy. It's also very convenient to get to, right off the highway.

"Deplorable Conditions and Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
This place honestly gets a big fat zero from me! Have you really posted pictures that make it look like a fancy hotel? Are you joking? Have you not stepped foot in this place for years? Don't be fooled-- the rooms sure don't look like what's shown in photos. Most elderly folks don't have brand new furniture and the rooms definitely don't come already furnished! The photos of the dining area and bathrooms? Don't match the reality in the four years my mom lived here. The place is run by a manager who's more of a fancy talker than anything else. And the supervisor? Shows no mercy and totally turns a blind eye to what's good for the residents. I wouldn't even let my dog stay here. The care my mom received here was downright horrifying and I was always doing damage control. If your loved ones can handle their bathroom needs when they arrive, won't be long before they can't do that either. Why? Not enough staff to go around! There are a couple of good apples who work super hard and are paid peanuts. But the others just ignore the residents, even stealing from those who are none the wiser. I could continue but I feel sick just thinking about it. Avoid this nightmare by hiring a home aide instead! Sadly, my parent is no longer with us.

"Active but Less Cozy Senior Home"
Brighton was pretty busy, which is alright, but it didn’t feel as cozy as some other places I’ve seen. It felt more like a business than a home. I don’t think it’s the best place for my 93-year-old mom, but they do have plenty of things to do and they take good care of people. The tour they gave us was okay.

"Happy Staff and Residents"
Brighton Gardens was the first assisted living place I checked out. After looking at six other places, none of them matched Brighton Gardens. Everyone there seems happy, both the staff and the residents. Whenever I call or email, I get a quick response, and they answer all my questions. My mom has been living there for four months since my dad passed away in May, and she’s really happy, which is all I care about.

"Loving care and reassurance at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living Facility"
My mom has been at Brighton Gardens almost a year. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly. Every time I visit, the employees are happy. The place is always clean and lively. I feel my mom gets the attention she needs all the time. Recently, my daughter got married in Texas, and I worried about family being away. The owner assured me she'd stay with my mom in any emergency. Choosing the right place for a loved one is tough. Brighton Gardens has been great for us as a family.

"Steer Clear of This Indifferent, Mean-Spirited Facility"
The head of this place is unfriendly, uncaring, mean, patronizing, annoying, and dishonest. My mom lived there until recently. Thankfully, she's now somewhere else, where the people working there are kind, sympathetic, and caring. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This place is good for my aunt. I feel good about her being here. She's safe and taken care of. It's pricey but nice. Everything's going well. I'd tell my friends about it.

"Pleasant Visit for Mom; Found Better Fit Elsewhere"
My wife took a nice tour of this place for my mom. She checked it out to see if it would work for my mom's needs. The tour went smoothly, and she thought the place looked good. The people who worked there were friendly and polite. Overall, it was a good experience, but we ended up finding another place that suited our needs better.

"Assured Comfort: A Safe, Clean, and Friendly Community"
I feel assured about Mom's safety and care here. The place is clean and neat, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Mom enjoys the exercises and activities they offer. She mostly likes the food too. It's a bit pricey, but the peace of mind I get is totally worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone. I chose this place because of its location and overall atmosphere.

"Best Place for Dad with Wonderful Care and Great Activities"
I think this is the best place for my dad. The place is sunny and cozy. The staff is amazing and takes great care of him. He’s really thriving because of the care he gets. They quickly respond to any updates or treatment plans I ask about. The activities are fun, and the food is really good. I would definitely recommend BGSR to anyone.

"Cute and Cozy, but Small"
The Brighton Gardens was closer to our home but a bit small. When we walked in, I thought it was cute how they had a crib with a cat and a changing table at the end of the hallway. The place was very nice, but the rooms were small, and the dining area and activity room were right next to each other.

"Brighton Gardens Shines: Top Care and Quality"
After looking into many assisted living options for my mother, my wife and I are so happy we chose Brighton Gardens. In just over two months here, Mom's health has greatly improved, and she's been enjoying more social time with the friendly residents. The food quality was a big concern for us, but Mom loves the daily menus and is very satisfied with both the taste and the amount. Lastly, the care managers are fantastic! They are patient, attentive, and come up with creative solutions.

"Super Helpful and Caring Staff"
They were super helpful when we moved to assisted living. Mom had a stroke before she got there, and they were really good at helping her even though she had trouble talking sometimes. They made my dad feel very comfortable moving in, which is great because I know a lot of seniors don't like the idea. They really go out of their way to make it easy. I would highly recommend Freedom Pointe Minnetonka.

"Welcoming facility with room for improvement."
The building locks at night. During the day, a switch works, but at night, someone must let you in, and there's no one available. They offer few exercise programs, which are irregular. The activities are not very exciting; more mentally stimulating ones like discussions would be nice. More physical activities would be appreciated too. The staff is nice. The building needs some maintenance and updating since it's old. The food is not great; although some dishes are okay, they could improve. Balancing low sodium and light seasonings while making it tasty is challenging but achievable. The rooms are not spacious, but they have been accommodating. They welcomed us warmly.

"Great homey place with friendly staff"
We're happy we found this place! Our loved one is doing great here and seems happy. The facility is lovely and always very clean. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere here is nice and feels like it suits our loved one. Many other places we saw seemed too fancy, and she wouldn't have felt comfortable there. This one is much more homey and relaxed.

"Caring Staff That Knows Residents Well"
Our experience has been with the Reminiscence Memory Care unit. The staff is very helpful and really considers my mom's needs. They do everything necessary to keep everyone safe and comfortable. They know each resident by name and take the time to learn about their past, likes, and dislikes to meet each person's needs. Any questions or concerns are answered quickly. It is a bit pricey, but when compared to at-home care, including the costs of 24/7 care and maintaining a home, it's pretty close, and the quality of care here is better.

"Lifesaver for Mom: Top Notch Assisted Living Facility"
Thank you so much for everything! I had a rough time with Memory Care Living. They made me take my 93-year-old mom, who has dementia, from one hospital to another. But don't worry, I sent them the bill from the second hospital. I kept hearing your commercial on the radio (770 AM) in the NYC tri-state area, so I thought, why not give this a try? It turned out to be great. I moved my mom with all her stuff the day after Christmas. I just visited her yesterday, and she loves it there.

"Ideal for Parents Despite Missing Amenities Evaluation Process Appreciated"
This place could work well for my folks, even without phone or cable. It's a big deal that they'll assess my parents where they are, saving me from hauling them here. Victoria's right, driving over four hours for a short visit isn't smart. Seeing their care firsthand helps them make a better call. But the $3500 upfront fee is a hurdle, and even if VA benefits kick in, $10,020 is steep. Hopefully, after evaluating their needs, the cost might drop a bit.

"Best of the Four"
We checked out about 4 places, and this one was the best. The rooms at Brighton Gardens felt bigger and nicer than the others. Here, each room has its own bathroom, while the others had shared bathrooms. Overall, Brighton Gardens just seemed a bit better than the other places, and we would recommend it to anyone.

"Lovely assisted living, feels like a hotel, owned by Sunrise."
Took a tour with a staff member at this place. It's really nice. It's got 90 units and used to be owned by Marriott, but now it's owned by Sunrise. It kinda looks like a hotel.
