"Management Failure Leads to Neglected Resident at Assisted Facility"
Our family made the hard choice to put our dad in a memory care facility at Bright View this year, but our hope turned into disappointment. We thought this would keep him safe, but the care he got was far from it. The place did not have enough staff and the ones they had didn't know how to properly care for people dealing with memory loss. They didn't do any activities to stimulate his memory. Instead of helping when they didn't know what to do, they'd just call the ambulance to take him to the nearby hospital. They even called us one time saying dad was dying because he wasn't responding, when really, he was just asleep in a chair. No professional bothered to check on him properly and because he's hard of hearing, he didn't hear their shouts. The worst part was when he fell and hit his head, which got him admitted in the hospital. We got a shock when we found out he was in kidney failure because he was really dehydrated. He always loved eating and drinking, and could do it himself if the stuff was there. His fall and health problems should not have happened. This was a terrible time for our family, seeing our loved one getting worse because of the place we trusted to care for him.

"Not a Good Fit"
The place was bigger than we wanted, and they didn't have enough staff. It just wasn't right for our loved one because of its size.

"Friendly staff but might move residents to different facility"
The staff here are friendly and really know their stuff. I heard from some other people that this place might move my husband to another facility because of his care needs. That’s why we decided not to choose this community.

"Top-Notch Assisted Living: A Haven for Comfort and Support"
This place just opened in October and it feels really welcoming. Each room has its own bathroom, which is a nice touch. Mike, one of the staff, was super helpful and nice. It's easier to find than I expected. It's peaceful and pretty, with lots of space to walk around. Definitely thinking about it for my husband.

"Positive experience with attentive staff, food quality needs slight improvement."
Positive experience with attentive staff, food quality needs slight improvement.]] Our time at Brightview Randolph has been great! The staff are really good at taking care of everyone's needs, and they're very flexible with how they help. Moving in was made much easier with their support, which was a huge help. The only thing that could be better, according to my loved one, is the food. She says it's not terrible, but it's very processed and not very fresh.

"Friendly, Caring Staff"
Our experience at Brightview Randolph has been great! The staff is super attentive to residents' needs and very flexible with care. During the move-in process, they were a big help. The only downside is that the food, while not terrible, seems processed and not very fresh.
