"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
When we met with them in the conference room, the table was really dirty. They didn't seem interested in our needs and didn't answer many of our questions. Also, there wasn't much going on in the facility. When we left, they kept calling us repeatedly.

This place was nice, but we weren’t ready for community living.

"Quiet Facility, Lacks Vibrancy for Mom"
The staff at [Name removed] was kind and supportive, but the place seemed too outdated and similar to a nursing home, which wasn’t quite right for our mom. The atmosphere was really peaceful. Not many people were around in the shared spaces, and most of those who were, seemed to be napping.

"Friendly community with great staff; Mom's decision time."
We loved the community. [Name] was wonderful, and the location met Mom's requirements. The tour and occupants were nice. Now it's up to Mom to decide.

"Great Care, High Costs"
My brother and I feel good about the care our mom gets at Brookdale Florham Park’s Memory Unit. The staff is friendly, and they take great care of her. Her room is clean, and she doesn’t mind the food. They keep her busy with activities, and my brother takes her out on weekends and to doctor appointments. Overall, she’s well cared for. But the cost of senior care everywhere seems too high.

"Satisfactory Memory Unit Affordable but Overpriced Senior Care"
My brother and I are okay with how they're taking care of our mom at Brookdale Florham Park, even though she keeps saying she doesn't want to be there. The staff is nice and takes good care of her, her room is tidy, and everything's clean. Mom doesn't mind the food either. They keep her busy with activities, and my brother takes her out on weekends and to her doctor's appointments. I think Mom's getting good care, but senior care costs seem way too high.

"Informative Visit"
My family and I got a super detailed tour at this place. The staff was so nice, they made us feel really welcome. They took their time explaining everything to us and my loved one. This spot was one of my favorites, but it's a bit far from home.

"Perfect size, wonderful staff!"
My mom has been at Brookdale Florham Park for almost two years. She was nervous at first, but the staff made her feel very welcome, and now she's really comfortable in her new home. The smaller size of the place is a big plus. The staff is super friendly and caring, and Mom loves the activities and entertainment. As she needed more help, the staff adjusted to her needs. Having Mom at Brookdale Florham Park has been great for her and gives me peace of mind.

"Sister Thriving, Loves Clean Place, Good Food, Recommend"
My sister is doing great at this place. She's settled in nicely and says she really enjoys it. She mentioned the place stays clean, and she's trying new things. The food is good, too. I think it's a good choice because she's happy.

"Disappointing Visit to Assisted Living Facility: Lack of Accommodation"
I arranged a tour at this assisted living facility on March 6th. After chatting with their staff, it was mentioned that they won't take any new residents who need a hoyer lift. I informed them of my mom's needs before setting up this meeting, and they were aware that she can't get in and out of bed without a lift. Still, they brazenly tried to continue their sales pitch. I was frustrated and peeved because I drove more than an hour to check out this place, which we found out was never a possible option for us.

"Comfortable Living with Great Amenities and Caring Staff"
My husband has been at Brookdale/Wynwood for about a month and things are going well. His studio apartment was just renovated, and it's roomy and very comfortable. The room includes a kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator, stainless sink with a modern faucet, and enough counter space. The bathroom has tiles, a shower with a bench seat, a handheld showerhead, and grab bars. Meals are served in a nice dining room, and the staff is efficient and accommodating. There have been some issues with the menus—sometimes things listed aren't available or aren't as described, and some dishes are undercooked or overcooked. But overall, the food and variety are pretty good. Every week, there's a meeting with the kitchen manager and residents to discuss any problems. The executive director and most of the staff are very responsive, open to suggestions, willing to listen, and want to solve any problems. The on-staff RN and Med Techs are efficient, medications are given on time, and any health issues are watched and reported to the physician. The therapy my husband gets is excellent, with great occupational, physical, and speech therapists. The only thing that isn't 5-star yet is the aides, especially the overnight and early morning attendants. Hopefully, as they get to know my husband's needs better, their assistance will improve. We've kept our private aide to help my husband three days a week until we are totally comfortable with the community. I would definitely recommend this facility. Be sure to visit often, talk to the staff and residents, have lunch there, and check out the activities unannounced to see if your loved ones will fit in.

"Homelike and Caring Community with Engaged Staff"
This place is nice, small, and feels like home. It's very clean. The employees are very friendly and know all the residents' names. It's probably not right for my mom right now because she is very independent and might want a Jewish senior living place. But this would be a good choice for someone who needs more attention and prefers a smaller facility.

"Clean Facility; Inadequate Activities; High Cost"
This place is definitely tidy and the staff is full of warm-hearted folks. But, looking back, it might not have been the best option for my aunt. It doesn't offer enough activities to keep someone like her, who is physically limited yet sharp-minded, engaged. However, the high cost doesn't allow us to shift her now.

"Warm, Friendly Assisted Living"
My first impression of Wynwood was great. It's a clean, friendly place. Now that my Dad lives there, I still feel the same way when I visit. The staff is nice and enthusiastic, and the dining room pays attention to residents' preferences. The food is tasty and abundant. I hope Dad gains weight—he's been too thin living alone. The apartment, with his nice furniture, feels like home.

"Tour of Wynwood Florham Park Assisted Living Disappointing"
We visited this place while considering care for a family member. I wasn't impressed by Wynwood Florham Park. It looked dark, old, and unwelcoming. Their care policies weren't great either. When I asked about handling nighttime incontinence and how often they check residents, they said they let them sleep and deal with it in the morning. There weren't many activities, mostly just residents watching TV.

"Comfortable environment, friendly staff; occasional improvement needed."
The assisted living place is nice. My grandma is doing okay there, and it's clean. The people who work there are nice too. They had this family event in October, but it wasn't super fun. But it's okay, didn't bother me much. I've eaten there a few times. The food is okay, but some days it's better than others.

"Mixed feelings; Mom may need dementia care, lacking activities."
The assisted living facility has a good vibe. My mom is in a tricky spot between needing assisted living and dementia care. She might have to stay on the dementia care side because she wanders sometimes. But they said she could come to the assisted living side for activities. However, when I visited the dementia care side, it seemed sad and there weren't any activities going on. The other residents seemed to be farther along in their dementia than my mom.
