"Mixed experience with staff and food."
I'd suggest Juniper Village at Paramus. Staff was great, but Mom didn't like the food.

"Great Activities and Food, But Expensive and Lacks Nursing Staff"
It's great, she loves it. They have a scratch kitchen and the food is delicious. The activities are the best. They have the usual bingo, Pokino, and karaoke. Last week, they had a spelling bee. She came in second. They have comedy night and art exhibits. Entertainment is great at least twice a week. I even perform there. The place is kept clean. They do her laundry once a week, clean her room, and change the sheets. They have PT and exercise. The only thing missing is a nursing staff and more hands-on staff to make sure she takes a shower and her pills sometimes. Another thing is it is expensive: $7,100 for a one-bedroom plus $1,850 for add-ons. Other than that, it's a nice small community and easy to get around. You don't get lost. The atmosphere is pleasant.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
Our family visited in person, and we enjoyed the tour overall. However, it didn't feel right for our loved one.

"Choosing Between Similar Communities"
This place felt like another one I considered. I knew someone at the other community, so I chose differently. Good amenities, but the other place stood out.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My family member stayed there, but we weren't happy. The food was bad, the rooms were too small, and it cost a lot for what you got.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Experience"
Our family visited this assisted living place in person. The staff were nice and friendly, but the people living there didn't seem to talk much to each other and didn't look very happy. We also didn't like that our family member would have to use the elevator to reach the dining room and activity room.
