"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Costs and Care Quality"
My mom has been at the facility for three years. She likes it, and the staff are very friendly to her. They take good care of her and make sure she gets attention. She's even made some nice friends there. But, the prices keep going up by about 10% every year. When we first visited, they told us the costs would go up every 3-4 years, and they stayed the same for a while. However, in the past two years, we've seen big increases. We know the CEO earns a lot of money. I hope these price hikes are going toward paying the staff and caretakers more, and not just giving more million-dollar bonuses to the bigwigs in charge.

"Convenient and Friendly Assisted Living with Helpful Amenities"
We chose this community because A Place for Mom recommended it. It's conveniently located near doctors, friends, and family. The rooms are nice, and the community is very friendly. The walk-in showers are a great advantage for people with disabilities.

"Great care and attention, but a bit pricey"
They’re really quick to address our concerns and are very flexible. A lot of the staff genuinely care about my loved one. They spend extra time with her, even when it’s not required. The place is really nice and recently updated, so it looks great. It costs more than other places, but they offer better care.

"Facility Tour Good, But Not Alzheimer's/Dementia Focused"
The visit was pleasant, and they showed us everything well. But we needed a place specializing in Alzheimer's/dementia care, which this one didn't offer.

"Great Meals and Activities, Clean Community, Good Value"
The community is really clean, and we've been impressed with the meals and dining service. Our loved one doesn't always join in the activities; sometimes she just watches. But we know there's plenty going on, like bingo and cookout days. Overall, we think it's worth the cost.

"A Good Choice"
We picked CareOne at Hamilton because it's a nice, clean place with different levels of care. The rooms are just right for what she needs. My advice: set realistic expectations and communicate with your loved ones. I'd recommend it to others.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place looks really nice and super clean! They have a lot of activities that seem fun. I went to see my friend there, and she's been feeling both good and bad. She really wants to leave, and I can see why. She says most of the staff is nice, but there are a few she doesn't like. She's just trying to go with the flow and hopes to leave soon. While we were there, a nurse came in who seemed a bit rude and rushed. She was really skinny and wearing a white lab coat. Other than that, everything seemed okay.

"Assisted Living Tour Feedback"
Hey, when we were checking out places for my in-law's next step, we set up visits. We had lots of questions and were really nervous. The lady we talked to was friendly and had good sales pitches, but she went too fast. The place is clean, no weird smells, but it doesn't feel like home; more like a hotel. It needs that cozy, homey vibe, like the smell of baking. I also wish they had a pet like some other places do. One thing that bothered me was we didn't get introduced to the care staff or nurses; that would've been nice. Just so you know, this isn't against the tour guide or the company.

"Lacking compassion and responsiveness; aides and food satisfactory."
The place looks nice, but lacks care. Mom likes aides. Food good. Only problem: Nursing Director unfriendly, unresponsive, seems uncaring.

"Mixed Experience at Care One Hamilton Assisted Living Facility"
I stayed temporarily at Care One Hamilton, also called respite. It wasn't my first choice; I wanted to be home. When it was clear that wasn't possible, a nurse met with me. She was honest and sympathetic, not trying to sell me anything, just explaining their offerings. She's the reason I chose Care One Hamilton. The staff went out of their way for me. The care aides were good, though my pendant didn't always work. The day nurses were caring and knowledgeable. However, I didn't like the lady in charge of supplies; she was loud, scowling, and always seemed angry. The head nurse, a skinny, loud, obnoxious woman, was unhelpful, sarcastic, and debated political issues with me, which shocked me. I was glad to leave. I enjoyed the meals and activities. The housekeeper, a plump woman of color, did a fantastic job.
