"Avoid Care One - Poor Care, Dismissive Staff, Bad Food"
Avoid Care One in Livingston at all costs! The staff brush off all issues and the food's dreadful, loaded with sugar even when there are patients with diabetes. People in need are constantly crying out for help and are disregarded, day and night, with nurses taking from half an hour to an hour to respond. An elderly dementia patient was left lying in diarrhea for an hour with no medication given just because the feces ended up on the floor and they needed "a sample". Complaints by the family were met with insincere appeals to high-level management. He was eventually moved to another facility!

"Mom-Approved Assisted Living"
My mom liked this place because she stayed at the sister rehab center years ago and had a good time. I recommend it, but keep your expectations in check.

"Facility Untruthful About Patient's Progress Post-Heart Attack"
My buddy was in this place for recovery following a heart attack and blood clot problems. They fibbed about how well he was doing so Medicare wouldn't prolong his stay. He's back in the hospital now. Thankful he's out of there. Even more thankful he's still kicking.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
We really like how nice everyone is. When we visit, they always say hi to our loved one by name and ask how she's doing. She likes everyone there. We keep in touch with her nurse through text and calls, which is very helpful. Everyone is really friendly and helpful.

"Disappointing Visit to CareOne Assisted Living Facility"
My visit to CareOne wasn't great. When I went in, it was super noisy, and they were playing loud modern music, which I didn't like.

"Retired Living Facility: Adaptation of New Training Routines Needed"
My mom was upset because the personal trainers at the assisted living facility kept repeating the same exercise regimen. They need to introduce new routines to the mix.

"Clean and Friendly Assisted Living with Engaging Activities"
Care One At Livingston is really clean and tidy. They manage to keep it spotless even though so many people live there. The staff and therapists are super nice and always ready to help, especially the folks at the front desk. I really feel like my dad is well cared for here. They have lots of different activities to keep everyone busy and entertained. We think Care One At Livingston gives you good value for your money.

"AWFUL Experience at Assisted Living: Terrible Food, Long Waits, Poor Staffing"
This place is absolutely TERRIBLE. Do not send your loved ones here. My mom or dad was there a few years back, and let's just say, it wasn't pleasant. Let's talk about the food, it's bad. It had no flavor and it looked like, well, like someone's upset tummy. They convinced us to move him to the section for people with memory problems, saying he'd receive enhanced care. But every time he'd ask for help, they'd have him waiting, sometimes for more than half an hour. There's no point to complaining, it's like talking to a brick wall. The staff were rushed off their feet because the facility didn't hire enough people. It got so awful that I had to talk to a state official who deals with issues like this.

"Disappointing experience at assisted living facility for elderly aunt."
Just found out my Aunt is staying there temporarily after dealing with pneumonia and a wound infection. But yesterday I learned she developed an open wound on her rear after just two weeks. She's 94 years old and lives alone, refusing to move in with her son who lives out of state. She didn't have this wound when she left home or the hospital! I'm really upset and going to visit for the first time today. I'm a nurse, and I recommended her primary home caretaker who her family and I trust. I also checked on her while she was at home. She had a small wound on her forearm from scratching, but it was healing with treatment from her doctor's office and visiting nurse. If she has a catheter, which I'm hearing she does, along with long-term IV antibiotics, then they might not be turning her, cleaning her properly, getting her up, or taking care of her skin. We'll see what's going on!
