"Clean, Responsive Staff; Value During Pandemic"
The staff cleans my mom's room daily, keeps it tidy. Common areas are spotless. They're always helpful and quick to respond to requests. Sometimes slower during the second shift. During COVID-19, they've kept everything safe, and updated families well. Great variety of activities before Covid-19. Cherry Hill offers good value, pleasantly surprised by pricing.

"Clean Facility, Needs More Light and Life"
Our visit to the assisted living place was pretty good. The person showing us around knew a lot and gave us answers to everything we asked about. The building itself was nice and clean, and it didn’t smell bad. The rooms were kind of dark but they had enough room. The hallways weren’t very bright either. When we were there, which was at 6 in the evening on a Friday, it was super quiet and kind of sad because nobody was doing anything. It’s not a place my mom would be happy in. They told us you have to pay for two years on your own. We might go back to see it in the daytime. Something I noticed was that I only saw two workers in the whole place. But maybe they were busy helping people in their rooms. We’re going to look at more places and let you know what we find.

"Aged Facility with Small Rooms, Host Was Informative"
The host at the living center was super nice and helpful. She gave us lots of info and spent plenty of time with us, which we liked a lot. But the place looks pretty old and the rooms are just too tiny for my Mom to live in.

"Cherry Hill Senior Living Center: A Positive Experience"
My mom has been at the facility for two months. I checked out seven places in Burlington and Camden County before choosing Cherry Hill Senior Living Center. Here’s why I picked it: It’s clean. The staff is dedicated and attentive. It’s close to where I live. They accept Medicaid after two years of private payment. Mom doesn’t have to change rooms when she switches to Medicaid. She can keep her own room even on Medicaid. The office staff has been helpful in answering our questions. On moving day, Helene arranged for us to have lunch in the dining room. The staff is friendly and responsive to mom’s requests, like putting up pictures and getting a new fridge. When she fell, the nurse called me right away. Mom is now doing physical therapy with the in-house therapist, which is a feature I was looking for. She has no complaints about the food—the portions are good, and the servers are kind and fun. The only thing she says is, ‘This place is full of old people.

"Mom’s New Home at the Senior Living Center"
My mom has been at the facility for two months since she moved in. I visited seven facilities in Burlington and Camden County before choosing Cherry Hill Senior Living Center. Here are the reasons I picked it: Cleanliness: The place is spotless. Dedicated Staff: The staff is attentive and caring. Convenient Location: It’s close to me. Medicaid Acceptance: After two years of private pay, they accept Medicaid. Room Continuity: Mom doesn’t have to move out of her room when she goes on Medicaid. Private Room: She can stay in her own room even on Medicaid. The office staff has been helpful, answering our questions. On moving day, Helene arranged lunch for the eight of us in the dining room. The staff is friendly and responsive to mom’s requests, like putting up pictures and getting a new fridge. When she fell, the nurse called me immediately. I appreciate that physical therapy is in-house, not contracted out. Mom enjoys the food, and the servers are kind and fun. Her only complaint? “This place is full of old people.

"Great assisted living with friendly staff and tasty food"
We are very happy with this place. While nobody is perfect and there’s always room for improvement, they are really good. The place is quite clean, and the staff is very friendly. I’m really satisfied with what I get. They called me back right away, and the administration is easy to work with. The food is excellent I’ve eaten there twice, and it was great. They’ve even fed 7 of our family members, and there’s a special room for us to sit together, which we all enjoyed. They offer activities, though sometimes they can be late or canceled. But the activities my mom does get to do, she really enjoys. The only thing that could use some improvement is housekeeping. The housekeeper is responsible for all the cleaning, so she could use some help and doesn’t always have time to do a thorough job.

"Great place with friendly staff and good food, minor improvements needed"
We’re really happy with this place. No one’s perfect, but they’re really good. It’s pretty clean, and the staff is very friendly. I’m very satisfied with what I get. They called me back right away, and the administration is easy to work with. The food is excellent; I’ve eaten there twice and had no complaints. They’ve even fed 7 of our family members in a separate room where we all enjoyed the meal together. They have activities, though sometimes they’re late or canceled. But the activities my mom does join, she really enjoys. The only thing that could be better is housekeeping. The housekeeper is busy and could use some help to do a more thorough job.

"Disappointing experience at Cherry Hill Senior Living"
Cherry Hill Senior Living was sadly not a good fit for us. My relative had a severe fall only a few days into staying there. Even though they were supposed to be carefully monitored in the dementia section frequently throughout the day and night, it was quite a bit of time before anyone came across her. Given the situation, I can't suggest this facility to others.

"Assisted living offers diverse activities, good food, and renovated facilities."
I don't visit often, but my sister does. Dad needs help; it's tough for them being there. Activities daily, special meals, holidays, and Grandparents Day. Dad loves the food; variety for meals. Grandparents Day had great food. Sister wants more help for Dad. Overall, better than others, renovated lobby adds comfort.

"Best Place for Dad"
My sister visits more often than I do, but my dad needs a lot of help. We're not sure if he asks for it. The place has daily activities, special meals, and holiday events. My dad enjoys the food, which matters when you're not out much. They even have customizable meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On Grandparents Day, we all went, and the food was really good. Sometimes my sister wishes they'd assist my dad more, but overall, it's the best place for him. It's nicer than other options, especially after the lobby renovation. It gives us peace of mind since he can't live alone anymore.

"Facility Separates Dementia Patients, Supervision Concerns Remain"
This place moved dementia patients away from others. My dad talks to people who might not understand, making it confusing for him. Some people in wheelchairs seem okay, but others walking around don't realize what's happening. Last visit, there were unsupervised dementia patients. Waiting to see if this change helps.

"Memory Care Separation Raises Concerns"
They moved the memory patients away. My dad talks to unfamiliar people, believing they know. It's confusing. Some walking look lost, not just those in wheelchairs. Last visit, unsupervised dementia patients remained. Improvement doubted.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Facility"
I went on a tour and had lunch with she. Good things: The staff was nice. There's a nurse during the day and evening, and a different nurse overnight. But, there are downsides: The rooms feel like fancy hotel rooms. The food was okay, but there weren't many options. Also, it seemed like you pay a lot for what you get.

"Friendly Staff, But Overpriced and Limited"
I had lunch and looked around with Helene. The good parts: The people working there are really nice; they have a registered nurse there during the day and evening; and a licensed practical nurse takes over at night. The not-so-good parts: The rooms feel just like hotel rooms; the food was alright, but there wasn’t much to choose from; it feels like it costs too much for what’s offered.

"Unsatisfied with Staff Treatment and Cleanliness at Assisted Living Facility"
really disliked this facility because they noticed the staff turning away people from the dining room while serving others. They were also bothered by the way one of the staff members talked to the residents. They weren't impressed with the tour guide, the maintenance personnel and even the cleanliness, which they couldn't overlook, even though renovations were in progress.

"Disappointment in Assisted Living Facility: Unkind Treatment and Unimpressive Tour"
The people mentioned were unhappy with this assisted living facility. They reported a really uncool scenario where residents were being turned away from the dining room while others were still being served. They also were not comfortable with how one of the staff was treating the residents - it just didn't seem right. Besides, they were not at all impressed by either the tour guide or the person who conducted the maintenance tour. The place's cleanliness was also an issue, even if they were in the middle of construction.
