"Avoid Neglected Care Facility, Misleading and Unhealthy Conditions"
My aunt's staying in a place like a spooky basement! As someone who works in health care, I've seen many times where the hallways are so dim and sad. The carpets are gross and reek of pee with other stains. There's barely any adult supervision or attention for people who REALLY need constant care and watching over. If you love your family, stay far away from this place! They lie to the people staying there, saying they can't go outside because they "forgot" the passcode. But when they gave the tour, they said everyone could use the patio and join in on the activities! It's just not worth putting someone you love in such an unstable place!

"Terrible Experience at Assisted Living Facility, Unhelpful Staff"
This place is really bad. My mom stayed there not long ago and my family had an awful time with them. The boss of the facility is mean, full of himself, and needs to lose his job. Their social worker doesn't know what she's doing.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience for My Mom"
My mom got a tiny room, left alone after trauma. Few visitors, limited movement due to broken hip. Expensive; new residents if money runs out. Locked out after 8; deposit return slow.

"Warm, Caring Staff and Clean Facilities Make Chestnut Hill Great"
My mom moved into this facility 2 years ago, starting in the Assisted Living section and now in the Memory Care Unit. With almost 40 years in the Healthcare Industry, I feel I can judge these places well, especially for my own mother. I have never been let down by this choice. The staff is very kind and caring, and you can always see them around, unlike many other places where it's hard to find a staff member. The decor isn't fancy no crystal chandeliers or marble floors but it's clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Chestnut Hill for caring for your loved ones. Even though placing a loved one isn’t easy, I rest easy knowing my mom is well taken care of. I pray for her and the caregivers every night. God bless them all.

"Affordable and Caring Assisted Living with Personalized Attention"
Visited with my mom. It's a nice place for residents, affordable without $150K savings needed for later life. Our tour guide, was fantastic. She explained everything clearly. This isn't a fancy place with grand staircases or big halls, but the staff knows residents by name and cares for them. The halls, shared rooms, and resident rooms we peeked into were all clean and well kept. They have doctors on site and a large, free-to-use laundry room. We enjoyed our visit, and if mom chooses assisted living or needs rehab, this will be our top pick.

"The community has activities, but falls are a concern."
My only worry about this place is that my aunt has fallen a few times since she moved in. Last time, they assured me she was fine, but when I visited her that day, we had to rush her to the emergency room. The community is neat, and they offer plenty of activities. She's satisfied with the food, and they've been flexible with us financially.

"Pleased with Chestnut Hill Residence; Excellent staff, enjoyable activities, clean environment."
My mom is happy at Chestnut Hill Residence. The staff are great and do a good job. The admissions staff was nice and helped us with any concerns. They have lots of activities my mom likes and different foods to choose from. Her room stays clean and the place is well-maintained.

"Disgusting Smell and Wild Cats at Assisted Living Facility"
Terrible! The memory care unit had a clear smell of pee and there were wild cats roaming around in the courtyard.
