"Mixed Experience at The Heritage of Clara Barton"

I live at The Heritage of Clara Barton. Most workers are nice, but one was rude once. Cleaning is good. If I knew beforehand, I'd search harder for another place. Also, TV service could be better, not always reliable.

"Fantastic Care and Support at The Heritage During Tough Times"

My mom has lived at The Heritage at Clara Barton for 3 years. I’ve always been really happy with the staff; they are amazing, treat everyone with respect, and keep the place spotless. There are lots of activities for the residents. Since COVID hit, I’ve been even more impressed with how they’ve handled things. The whole team, including [names removed], came together to keep everyone safe and support their emotional needs during this tough time. They make a fantastic team at The Heritage, and I’m grateful for them every day.

"Disappointing Experience at Clara Barton Heritage Home"

I'm really bummed about Clara Barton Heritage Home. I get that Covid-19 changed a lot, but the managers haven't helped calm families worried about when their loved ones can leave without quarantining. Some staff take residents to the doctor in their own cars when the bus isn't around. So why can't family do the same? Some residents take their pets for walks and go to stores without quarantining afterward. It's not fair to stop residents from leaving and making them quarantine for 14 days. This is really messing with the elderly residents' heads.

"Staff Training Needed to Improve Care for Elderly Residents"

The staff, about 3 out of 4 of them, need to learn how to treat old people better.

"Comfort and Care at Clara Barton Heritage Home"

My parents moved into Clara Barton Heritage Home almost two years ago in the independent living section. Overall, it was a great decision. They have a nice apartment that meets their needs, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Sadly, my dad passed away recently, and the coronavirus has made it hard for me to visit my mom when she needs me the most. My mom and I are both comforted knowing that the managers and staff are doing this to keep everyone safe from this horrible virus. I can drop off supplies for my mom as needed, see her in the lobby, and know she is doing well. They also help with FaceTime chats when needed.

"Communication and Promises Fall Short here"

The place is okay, but we've faced some problems during my family member's time here. When we first came, there was a big absence of warmth and welcomeness for them, which was a big let-down. On top of that, many promises made by this place, like access to therapy, were not delivered. Generally, I've noticed that there's usually a major lack of proper communication and the workers don't make a big effort to ensure my family member's needs are met.

"Great Assisted Living Facility with Impressive Amenities!"

He visited on September 25th and was very impressed! The assisted living facility offers religious services on-site. Each shared apartment has its own bedroom, and there are many community areas and benches outside. Physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) are available on-site, with medical visits twice a week. The shared room costs $2,600, while the studio is $3,355, plus additional charges for level of care. The facility looks nice based on website photos and is about a 35-minute drive south of Carine. Overall, it has good reviews.

"Clean, friendly, caring; needs better organization. Nice place!"

Our experience with Clara Barton has been good. The place is clean and well kept, and the caregivers are friendly and caring. The office staff could be more organized, though. We had some trouble with the move-in process and contacting the right people. Overall, it's a nice place

"Promising, but Needs Improvements"

The staff is great, but they're stretched thin. The food tastes like it's from a cafeteria—hardly any fresh fruits or veggies, and too many hot dogs. Wraps and sandwiches are available but not really promoted. Plus, the food is often too salty. Some apartments have old heating systems that are tough for elderly folks to manage; regular thermostats would be better. Not many residents seem interested in archery or ping pong—most use walkers. Live entertainment is rare, especially on weekends. They should offer more board and card games like dominoes, Mexican train, and Uno. New residents need more help getting used to the place. Overall, the facility is clean and friendly, and the staff is caring and competent.
