"Mansfield Facility: Lonelier and Worse than Group Home"
The Mansfield place only offers basic food and drink. I had to pack up and leave within a year because it felt so lonely. I can't recommend it unless you don't need any assistance whatsoever. It's not even as good as a group home, which we left in Pennsylvania, and unfortunately, this place is even worse.

"Nice community, good food; quiet with few activities, still recommend."
The community is very nice, and the food is good but could use more seasoning. It’s very quiet here, and there aren't many activities. I would still recommend this community to others.

"Good Value Assisted Living with Personalized Care and Activities"
The community always looks clean when we visit. The staff is nice, especially one woman who's excellent with my mother-in-law. They take good care of her, giving her individual attention and meeting all her needs. They have bingo and cards, which she loves. They used to have exercise classes before Covid-19. Besides that, there's not much entertainment. Overall, we think it's a good place for the price.

"Headline"
The place was okay, but not right for my family member. It felt more like regular apartments than a senior living home. Limited services.

"Not ideal for senior care; feels more like independent living."
The place was okay, but it wasn't right for my family member. It felt more like regular apartments for older people rather than a place for seniors to get extra help. They didn't have a lot of services available for my family member.

"A Wonderful Place for Mom"
My mom, like a lot of seniors, didn’t really want to move to an assisted living place. But now, she’s getting used to it at Colonial Manor, mostly because the staff is super friendly and caring, and the other residents are really nice. The building is nice-looking and feels welcoming, and the services are top-notch. We think the cost is really fair for what you get. Overall, our family is very happy we found Colonial Manor for our mom.

"Mixed Feelings: Colonial Manor Assisted Living Review"
My mom stays at Colonial Manor, a cozy farmhouse near Hackettstown. She enjoys it. The owners really care, especially about my 90-year-old mom, who's quite active and sharp. Some residents are less active, and they don't accept patients with severe Alzheimer's or difficult mental conditions, but they do accommodate physical disabilities. Doctors visit regularly. The price is reasonable, though the food could be better. Mom thinks there are too many carbs. They got a new cook last year, which helped, but some good recipes wouldn't hurt. Mom's room is spacious with a private bathroom featuring a roll-in shower. She's allowed to bring some furniture and keeps her car there too. They organize trips to the library and shopping center, and there are various activities like movie nights and bingo. They even have some animals and a budding garden. Overall, it's a nice place, but the food could use improvement.

"Mom Likes It Here- A Good Place"
The original Colonial Manor, an old farmhouse near Hackettstown, suits Mom well. The caring owners appreciate her active spirit, and though some residents are less engaged, the place has its perks. The reasonable price, decent-sized room, and various activities make it a good choice overall. However, they could work on improving the food.

"Visited Nice Assisted Living Facility"
I visited the Allamuchy facility, and it looked nice. However, my mom isn’t quite ready for assisted living.
