"Disturbing conditions at local assisted living center deserve zero stars"
Yeah, I visited my grandma there and the place seriously reeked. Passed by this guy with a bruised face who claimed he got attacked with knives while sleeping. The folks living there seem lost, just wandering aimlessly. The stench of urine and mildew is overpowering. The floors stick to your shoes and the bathrooms are in deplorable condition with huge holes in the floor. Seriously, they should be thankful I can't rate them 0 out of 5 stars, because that's exactly what they deserve.

"Facility lacks activities, communication and quality care"
From what we've seen, they need to step it up in every area - there's absolutely no fun stuff happening whenever we come to visit our family member, and all the others are just off to themselves, sitting in some corner. The workers could be way better at talking and staying in touch with the families. The care they give isn't great either.

"Consistent care and overdue attention"
My aunt's had the same nurse for two years, and the staff here is crucial. The consistent care is top-notch, and the facility is finally getting the attention it needed.

"Ivystone Improves Under New Director"
I recently left Ivystone to become completely independent. Initially, many reviews were accurate, but since a new director arrived, there has been significant improvement. Rome wasn't built in a day, and it will take time to fix everything, but they're on their way to becoming a much better facility. I'd rate them a three, with potential for a four or even a five someday.

"Unclean Facility with Rude Staff Needs State Inspection"
I can't fathom why this place is still running. One of my family members lives here and can't stop talking about how dirty everything is. On top of that, the medical team treats her terribly, respect is a foreign concept to them. Regardless of why she's staying here, this place needs a visit from the State inspector, now. I'm also unsure if it's the staff or other residents, but something is definitely being stolen here. It's clear that change is desperately needed.

"Unbearable Conditions at Assisted Living Facility Demand Intervention"
This is arguably the most terrible assisted living facility you could choose for your dear family member, or even work at. Staff members are frequently replaced due to a significantly high turnover rate. Trouble ensues when employees and their superiors quarrel unabashedly before the elderly residents, and even toward them. In terms of hygiene, it's quite appalling; they have issues with bedbugs, rodents, and cockroaches in the kitchen area - a sadly clear reflection of the staff's poor cleanliness. Moreover, the entire facility is barely properly cleaned up. It's really disturbing to see staff members eating before the residents do. What's worse is, on one occasion, an employee went so far as to spit in my grandfather's food, apparently because they weren't fond of him. This place is an absolute nightmare! I strongly suggest that you steer clear of sending anyone you care about to live or work here. If there's anyone in a position of authority reading this, this place desperately needs to be shut down. Wipe the slate clean of all staff members, including the main boss, and start anew.

"Demanding Immediate Shut Down and Staff Overhaul for Negligent Facility"
This is simply the worst place for your dear ones to be living in, or for anyone to work. The high frequency of staff leaving the job reveals massive issues. The staff and the managers frequently use foul language and argue openly, even in front of our elderly folks, which is super disrespectful. The place is infested with bugs, mice, and roaches, specifically in the kitchen area, because of the lack of cleanliness from the staff. This also results in a generally unclean environment. The staff has the nerve to eat before our loved ones. They even spat in my grandfather's food because they disliked him, and that's just outrageous! Honestly, don't let anyone you care about take a job or live here. It's my sincere appeal to those in charge, please come and SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! Everyone, even the head boss, should be replaced for a fresh start.

"Avoid this Facility: Poor Conditions and Negligence Abound"
Whatever you do, seriously consider not exposing your loved one to the monumental misfortunes of this assisted living facility. The staffing ratio is terribly low, there's high employee turnover, it's far from clean, overrun by mice, and overall disgustingly unhygienic. And don't even bother labeling your loved one's clothes; ironically, you're almost entirely likely to end up with someone else's wardrobe. The most atrocious part? They have the nerve to squeeze your loved one into tops that are two sizes too small. Please, take a moment to read the other reviews — heed our warning, as we've lived on the sharp ends of this horrendous experience. Even once known as Bentley Senior Living and now operating under the Ivy Stone moniker, the name change hasn't helped improve the conditions of this place. Far from suitable for our loved ones. Buyers, beware!

"Extreme Caution: Avoid this Assisted Living Facility at all Costs"
Absolutely do not send your loved ones to this awful place. It is cruelly understaffed, experiences high employee turnover, lacks cleanliness, and suffers from a severe mice infestation. The place is simply unhygienic. Furthermore, there's no point labeling your loved one's clothes; weirdly, you're practically assured to get someone else's belongings in return. Inexplicably, they may also squeeze your loved one into clothing two sizes too small. Do read other reviews; our family's experience at Ivy Stone, previously known as Bentley Senior Living, is not unique. Merely changing their name hasn't improved their services or care for the elderly. Buyers, be cautious!

"Wretched Conditions and Unpleasant Treatment at Assisted Living Facility"
Please, refrain from entrusting your dear ones to this facility. It's unclean, unpleasant and has a shortage of staff. They don't have a sufficient amount of medical supplies and treat their residents in a deplorable way.

"High Staff Turnover, Poor Patient Care at Assisted Living Home"
My mom spent her final years at Bentley, a facility I chose due to its proximity to my place. I was able to visit her often, at least four times a week, over a span of three years. The whole experience was painfully distressing. One glaring issue was the constant change of staff. It seemed apparent that fresh graduates of nursing and certified nurse assistant school were preferred, and they took off after their trial period, probably due to no pay hike. This phenomenon of bringing in newly graduated staff was a perpetual affair. Staff were regularly seen pulling double because of their colleagues' absence or dismissal, a situation that raised my eyebrows frequently. It goes without saying that if a business treats its workforce poorly, the quality of the service is bound to be unsatisfactory. I constantly protested about the irregular care provided to my mom, the pest problem, the general filthiness of the surroundings, and the indifference shown by the higher-ups. I would advise anyone who values their dear ones' welfare to avoid this facility. If only the government would get involved and shut down this pitiful institution.
