"Poor Service and Insensitive Management at Assisted Living Facility"
Recent management changes have made this place unbearable to live in. The quality of food has significantly dropped, there's nothing to do on weekends, they're under-staffed, and the management doesn't even care. My mother-in-law was politely told not to come back following her hospital visit because she needed diaper changes more often and couldn't do it herself anymore. That's just shameful. If you have an elderly loved one, I suggest you look elsewhere for better care.

"Poor management and lack of care at assisted living facility."
My mom has been living in these assisted living facilities for 2 years. They've changed their name, but unfortunately, they are still managed by the worst executives I've ever seen. They think a name swap will fix everything, but my family and I know otherwise. It's not the name that requires altering, but the Executive Director and the nursing managers. You would think people in this profession show compassion towards their residents, but not this staff. The activity coordinators and assistants are wonderful, but the administration is terrible – they always have an excuse for their failures, he never returns phone calls and never leaves his office.

"Mixed feelings about Assisted Living Facility; Needs Improvement"
Good Points: Teamed up with CentraState Medical Center; Neat and tiny place Downsides: Our main contact was gone for the day; Had a hospitality boss who was too busy to talk with us; Need to contact or call again to talk about prices, therapy choices, and Mom's specific needs.

"Reliable Care and Comfort at Monmouth Crossing"
Our sister has been living here for 8 years. We are happy with how well they take care of her, the place itself, the meals, and the staff.

"Mixed Experience at Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living"
I don't think the staff understands my dad's feelings well. They stick strictly to their rules without being flexible. That's my main problem with Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living. The food there is tasty, and the surroundings are beautiful.

"Neglectful Care and Teasing Prompt Removal from Assisted Living"
My mom, who suffers from dementia, was in the Memory Care unit of this facility for almost two years. I used to visit often and take her home some weekends. For the most part, her care was okay until I started to notice that her bra was always put on wrong when I took her home. It felt like someone was making fun of her. My mom said there was an episode where people laughed at her after a bath, which made her cry. She's not the kind of person to make up something like this. I reported this to two workers including the male aide who's possibly responsible. They brushed it off with lame excuses about my mom being too active causing the bra problem. When the director also gave the same excuse, it wasn't comforting. Though she offered another person to dress mom, I wasn't convinced as the place was small and chances were they could still tease her. So, I moved my mom out of the facility.
