"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Community: Communication Needs Improvement"
We chose this place because it's close and affordable. But we were let down. It was frustrating and made us feel sad and tricked. They need to talk better! They didn't meet the expectations they set and didn't respond well.

"Great Value and Friendly Staff!"
My family member is doing well. The staff always gets back to me through phone calls or texts. Overall, they're pretty good and very friendly. My loved one really enjoys the breakfast—they offer low-sodium meals. Mealtime matters a lot. There are plenty of activities, and my family member seems to have made new friends. All in all, I feel like I'm getting good value for the money.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Personal Care Needs"
I liked Bentley Commons. It looked nice and staff were friendly. But my dad needed more individual care, which they couldn't provide. In the memory care, staff helped residents join activities and were supportive. Everyone was great, but it wasn't the right fit for us.

"Solid Choice for Seniors"
This community is a good option for you or your loved one. They offer activities like movie day and entertainment to keep residents busy. The tour went well, and I was happy with the information they provided about the community.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Better Security Measures"
My family was glad they let my loved one stay during hospice. Things went fine, but some stuff got taken—my mom's jewelry and personal documents.

"Assisted living facility lacks cost-effectiveness and satisfaction for residents."
The stay is okay, but my loved one wants to go home soon. She's unhappy cooking her own food but still paying for dining. She also dislikes paying the activity fee but not participating. It's not very cost-effective.

"Not Quite Active Enough"
This place seemed clean and pleasant during my visit. The staff I met were friendly. However, it felt more like a nursing home, and we were hoping for a livelier community.

"Great Place for Retirement!"
I really recommend this place for anyone thinking about retirement. My mom loves her new apartment, and the staff have been great at making her feel comfortable during the adjustment. She’s also been joining in on lots of activities during the week and making new friends with the other residents.

"Small Gym, Helpful Guide, Extra Storage"
The staff was a really helpful guide during our visit. This place stood out because it had a separate storage area for extra belongings. However, the gym was quite small, with only two pieces of equipment, although they were planning to expand it.

"**"Staffing Concerns at the Community"**"
I think this place didn't have enough staff to take good care of my husband. They told me I should have his private caregivers help him in the morning and during meals. The staff was friendly, and the community seemed clean.

"Review - They also Won't Accept Hoyer Lift Users"
I talked to the home about needing the hoyer lift because that's why I left Brookdale Florham Park. They also won't take in people who need that much help.
